Winter Northern Lights Motel

Very reasonable, owner friendly and helpful. Easy check in with lock box and key, great if coming last minute or late. No big frills here, just clean and neat. Low price and very comfortable. 5 star dinner club nearby, gas station for snacks near by. Very relaxing, nice not to have to pay big bucks for a great nite sleep.

Always a favorite stop in the Northwoods and can ride the atv and snowmobile trails right from my door.

My husband and son stayed here while opening up our cabin nearby. Very easy to check in,even late at night. The owner is a man of few words but was very informative and the room was very clean and beds were very comfortable and we were so thankful that a room was available on short notice(called only 24 hours before needing a room). We will definitely stay here again!

Some of the low review scores are unfair. This motel is IMPECCABLY clean every time I stay and the service is great. I've traveled around the country on the company dime and walked into situations so bad I had to demand a new room at hotels that cost MANY times as much as this and have TERRIBLE service to boot. Yeah, it could be updated. I don't care, this is full service lodging in a town of 313 people, come on. And all my neighbors have always been either people traveling for work or hunters and or fishermen (who are early to bed and early to rise.) It's nice and quiet. Everything up here is far away from everything else. If this is close to where you want to be... Five stars, easy.

Beds are comfy, rooms are clean, price is very affordable. Fresh towels (without having to ask) and the owner is friendly and very helpful. It’s a great place to stay. Easy check in at any time of the day or night.

Simple but Super clean and well appointed. Nicer than many chain hotels. I will be back!

I've been here many times and never had a bad experience. For the rates, you get a lot for your money. The rooms are clean and organized and the staff is very friendly! Would recommend!

Had a wonderful time staying at Northern Lights. It was very quiet , the room was very clean, beds where extremely comfortable, and Dale and his wife ( the owners),... very friendly.

Looking forward to coming back again.

Value for money is excellent. Easy after hour check in and the cleanliness is great. Very dated, but everything works and the fridge and microwave are great. We will be back.

I like this place! It's an older motel, but it's spacious and very clean, and I would say has charm. The owner and the people there are so nice!!!

Clean rooms, beds comfy a plus extra pillow on each bed. Will definitely stay again! Pricing is reasonable.

What's the last minute stay for us rented two rooms only spoke over the phone rooms are clean and ready to go we arrived highly recommend this place
