Great food with a solid menu that has tons of options on it for all sorts of people. top notch service and very clean bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for more at a restaurant. I absolutely recommend Mavericks point to anybody that is local or that is visiting for the weekend. A++

Stopped there while we were down this October to watch our Lions play. They accommodated us with the game on one of their tvs, the waiter was so kind, we ordered some apps and drinks and then got into some dinner afterward. The food was pretty decent and the atmosphere was comfortable. Some of the locals were salty that we beat the Panthers this season but what can we say? Go Lions!

We just had the most wonderful meal. We started with the mozzarella sticks and boom boom shrimp. The shrimp were big, fresh, crispy and the sauce was the perfect blend of spicy. For dinner our girls had chicken tenders and fries and a grilled cheese which were plentiful and they loved. The teriyaki wings were tangy, with a crispy skin, tender chicken and loaded with meat. The burger was actual cooked the way I requested it as medium rare and juicy. The house margarita hit the spot just right as well as the Bahama Mamma. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and friendly. Service was exceptional. Whole place got singing together at one point. Such fun!

We went to Mavericks Pointe after we left Sunset Beach today, and enjoyed a great Bloody Mary and a fresh, delicious salad with grilled shrimp on top. Great service, good music and a relaxing atmosphere. Our drinks and food came in a timely manner, and I will be going back! It looks like there is live music at times, and I think this would be fun to go see and enjoy, definitely recommend!😊😊❤

Perfect place for a meal master the beach. My burger was delicious and the service was terrific.

This place hit the spot for us. We didn't know the area well, and took a shot as we were driving back to Myrtle Beach to catch a flight. The food was really good - I had the crab cake - and we were well taken care of by the staff. My boys enjoyed the kids' sliders, and my wife was impressed with the salad with grilled chicken. For a beachy bar and grill, this place nails it.

Bartender friendly. Lemon pepper wings are crispy with tender juicy meat.

Stopped by before going to a Turtle hatchling event. Got to watch the football game which was a plus. A bacon burger will set you back about $13 bucks came with fries (OH AND A LITTLE PIECE OF BEACON LOL 😂) which is not bad for the times we are living in. 1-10 on the burger 🍔 I would say a 7 1/2. Waitress was on point & super nice. Which is hard to find nowadays. Would I recommend yes. If you are bougie this is not the place for you. More laid back comfortable atmosphere.

Nice local night spot. Older easy going crowd. Live band tonight. Ask Connie for her special 'girly drink' and she will bring you this laser blue tequila whistle wetter.

We have stopped here many times on our way home from the beach. Our whole family loves this place. The burgers are delicious and our server Miss Hilda is amazing.

McKenna was an amazing waitress. I came for 4th of July and she was absolutely outstanding in her service! From the moment I stepped into Mavericks in Sunset Beach, McKenna's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. The 4th of July rush didn't seem to faze her at all; she was poised and attentive, ensuring that every guest received the attention they deserved. She made sure I got my food quickly and efficiently, and even talked to me on a personal basis. McKenna is amazing!

Had a marvelous time doing Karaoke with Lisa Snow. She's there every Wed nite 5 till 8 pm. Food order I took home was very good !!! Jenny..the server was very nice & accommodating !!!

Stopped in with a friend on a Sunday afternoon to watch football and get a bite to eat. They had 5 different games on the 5 televisions. Was easy to catch them all from where I was sitting. Loaded nachos were pretty good but the burger was excellent. Meat was done just right and the bun was very tasty. Potato salad offering as a side was pretty tasty as well. While the server/bartenders were busy, they were also friendly and prompt.

We stopped here for burgers and ate on the deck with our 2 dogs. (It was "burgers and beach night" for the dogs!) The burgers were awesome, as were the fries. The bartender was super nice. Hope to go back again!

Great place to eat, drink and just take a load off great atmosphere and polite staff.

Mavericks is a local watering hole for sunset beach/calabash area. It's a great atmosphere and the people are great to be around. Couldn't ask for better service from the wait staff. Mozzarella sticks are absolutely delicious. You'll have to check the days and hours they are open as it varies.

Great drinks!!! Even better food!!! The guy running the kitchen obviously knows his way around back there!! Perfectly seasoned... excellent portions!! Came out in timely manner.. will definitely be back!!!!

We've had food & drinks here several times in the past year as well as this week and never experienced any problems. The food is typical bar food but the burgers and chicken sandwiches are pretty good.
We will definitely return again .

The fried pickles were out of this world! Chili cheese fries were delicious and an absolute huge portion which is great! Service was excellent and perfect place for a quick but savory bite. Would highly recommend!

I've never had an experience with the owner that was rude he's very nice he's always been pleasant, the bar staff is wonderful the wait staff is wonderful, excellent burgers, excellent chicken wings, excellent shrimp I highly recommend this place!! They have great bands nice place to go kick back have a snack or a meal with a beverage if you're on vacation.
