Outback Steak & Oyster Bar

We arrived there around 430pm, not a lot of people were there. We got right in. Sat by the window, wife had the prime rib and lobster. She loved every bite. I had a hamburger and onion rings, they make their own rings. Very tasty. We also had the alligator appetizer, tasted great. Oysters were really good, a bit pricy for me though.

We were pleasantly surprised that Outback Steak & Oyster Bar was not part of the Outback chain restaurant that we thought. The family owned restaurant experience was more friendly, felt more like home. Loved the Outback themed atmosphere and the open grill area where we could actually see our steaks being cooked. Our server, Kelly, was very friendly and attentive, she checked on us regularly Our steaks came prepared just as we had ordered! Delicious! The complimentary rolls were unusually different. Loved every bite!

This was a awesome supper place!!! Can't say enough about delicious food n top notch service!!! We'll definitely be back. Been going to branson for years n this was first time here for us.

I don’t usually write reviews, especially for steakhouses. My experiences in the past have left me disappointed and wanting my husband’s steak on the grill instead of out to eat. We were pleasantly surprised at dinner this evening - the food was delicious! My husband got the steak and shrimp special. I got the rack of lamb. Our two year old daughter got the sirloin and Mac and cheese off the kids menu - the portion was big enough for an adult. Everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. If all steakhouses were like this we’d try them more often! I recommend anyone in Branson go here!

My first time here my husband has been here previously awesome steak, shrimp garlic mashed potatoes. Salad and rolls excellent pineapple upside down cake drink excellent my husband had sweet potato and he loved it and gator juice gator bites for an appetizer delicious

Local. But first time at Outback. First…it’s NOT the chain. Know that.

Loved the atmosphere. They cook the meats on a grill you can see when you walk in. Pretty cool.

The only downer was another server had to refill my DC. Our server seemed overwhelmed, but might just be new.

Great place and atmosphere. The live music was awesome and not too loud. We could talk but still hear the music.

We will def be going back.

We checked this out for the first time when we were in Branson last week. We always avoided it because we thought it was part of the chain, and we are not fans of the chains. When we found out it was not the chain, we had to check it out. We really liked it! Their Blooming Onion was great, as were the entrees! Our service was attentive and friendly! We will definitely be back when we visit Branson next time!

Just super amazing, service was fantastic, the atmosphere was awesome BUT THE FOOD WAS THE BEST IN THE WEST.... LOVED IT.....I had the steak and shrimp and it was so delicious, the steak was the best I have ever had and I'm 61 years old...my husband had the all you can eat fish...just yummy.....thank you.....

So Happy we decided to eat here. The food was amazing and our waitress was fantastic!
The steak was cooked perfect and my fiancé said her fish was the so fresh. Love the honoring military decor. There are several different seating areas... outside on patio with fire pit or cozy inside or inside balcony that overlooks the pond. This is a stop we will eat at every time we come to town. Just Super!

TL;DR: Crawfish Etoufe is a must have. If that's not your thing, grab a steak and don't regret it.

When we first arrived, we all but met a Jedi telling us this was Not the Outback We Were Looking For. Thankfully, it was much better.

Our dinner was served with bread and whipped butter. I couldn't name the type of bread, but it was light and fluffy with a slightly crisped outside.

Most of our party had steaks, they were mostly cooked accurately Dave for a single medium steak that was received medium well. That said, they were all tender and delicious.

I had the Crawfish Etoufe. It was seasoned perfectly to be paired with the bread served with it. While not the best Etoufe I've ever had, it was really good. Spicy with plenty of crawfish and notable hints of tomato.

Service was fast and professional with my drink never hitting the bottom although it was terribly difficult to get the check and take out boxes.

The bathroom was interesting. The urinals in the men's room are fashioned from kegs. Unfortunately they are understocked on soap and hand sanitizer....

I had the outback chicken, it was delicious! The spices were amazing and the chicken was moist and tender. I recommend a stop here while your in town!

Very cozy place first off, excellent service! Friendly staff & delicious food. We all got steaks medium rare, cooked just the way we like it. Definitely get the garlic mashed potatoes or French fries! Would definitely recommend if you are stopping by in Branson

I love this place! The food and desserts are too die for. They were able to modify some stuff on the menu so I could get it just the way I wanted it. The decorations are very cool too. Overall a great place! I will definitely be back.

This was a great dining establishment. We ate closer to closing time so they were rushing a bit, but they accommodated us and to be honest the waiter was kind. It was not busy as winter and all. But the food was as expected.

One of our favorite places. Shane L did a great job of taking care of us. Food looked good and tasted good too. They are recently remodeled the bathrooms to make them nicer.

Has to be one of the best filets I have ever had! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our male server was great and attentive enough. Sorry no picture, but if I ever come back here again, I will surely go back! Highly recommend! Wish I had taken a photo….sorry I didn’t but the food and service was 10 star!

I had the Trio and it was fantastic! My husband had a steak and it was fabulous. No need for steak sauce. Excellent! We will be going back. I don't understand how people gave such low ratings. You know it just might be you and not the restaurant. Some people have high opinions of themselves. Just saying.

The best food in Branson. No one else is even close.

This was a revisit for our family! Great steaks! If you pay attention walking in, you can see the huge grill where they're cooking all of the steaks. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Generous portions and great service!
