Black Oak Grill

Just stumbled on to this place and wow. This is my new favorite place in Branson. The food was amazing and the service was top notch.👍 The table bread is great and the grilled meatloaf was the best I have ever had and the mashed potatoes and gravy are excellent. 👌 The deserts are a real treat also. The carrot cake was absolutely wonderful.

I was surprised with the level of communication amongst the staff here. After telling them about my gluten allergy, our waitress informed the manager on duty and she came to the table to speak to us. As they don't have anything labeled gluten free on the menu, the manager lists off everything that can be made gluten free. They do have a dedicated fryer, so I was able to have their French fries. They were well seasoned and crispy. I tried the clubhouse sandwich on gluten free bread, and it was really good! I would order it again! A family member ordered the same sandwich on regular bread, and they agreed that it was good. My family enjoyed the fried goat cheese ball. They were also pleasantly surprised by the rolls with sweet butter. I would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

The facility offers indoor and outdoor seating and has a separate room from the rest of the restaurant for a more-intimate experience as well.

There is a full-stocked bar with additional seating, if you prefer. You can find a variety of local and national beers, wines and other spirits.

The food menu has several signature dishes and I especially recommend the steak! (My wife loved the ribeye). The plate dinners include sides, such as seasonal vegetables.

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.

My first time trying out this restaurant. I thought the atmosphere and food were great. The waiter went way beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They have a lunch menu which is nice so that the prices are a little cheaper. The lunch Pot Roast was so tender and juicy. The Chicken Fried Steak and the Ruben are also excellent choices too.

Great food, gluten-free bread and buns, excellent skins with beef. Great waitress.

We were looking for a nice dinner and were amazed at the quality of food for the price. Very flavorful and fresh. Service was top notch. Definitely will be coming back on our next trip to Branson.

We are so happy we came across this place! To be able to find a place that has food with so much flavor, the customer service is on point, and it does not break your pocketbook by eating here..is rare! We are local in the area, but this is our first time eating here. We decided to try the meatloaf, and it was one of the best restaurant meat loaves we have ever tasted! We ourselves are small business owners locally, and love that they outsource a lot of their products from local businesses in the area. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. The hubby already wants to go back in the morning to try the breakfast! He said the sweet tea was really good also! 🙂 Side note: You can feed the littles 🧒🏻👧🏼 for only $5 kids meals!

Stopped here for lunch. The atmosphere was nice the service was outstanding. The food was delicious very fresh made. We ate off of the lunch special their salad was very fresh and out and good. Had an appetizer of fried mushrooms they were so delicious they were the best mushrooms that I've ever had. Would highly recommend it.

While vacationing in the area, we stopped in for lunch as we visited the various stores. We were trying to find a restaurant that had plenty of gluten-free options to help us with our dietary restrictions. This restaurant has a separate fryer for gluten-free fries. They also had gluten-free bread for sandwiches. At the time of our visit they were out of the gluten-free buns for burgers. Traveling with young kids we found that the kids meals were appropriately priced and offered plenty of quantity. Each of our kids had leftovers. One had the gluten-free grilled cheese and the others had gluten free cheeseburgers. I had the gluten-free toasted clubhouse sandwich, which was delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken Caesar salad, minus the croutons. The waiter was friendly and helped us navigate the menu. The atmosphere was quiet on a Tuesday around lunch time with most of the noise coming from the quietly playing speaker. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend stopping for lunch if you have to avoid gluten.

What a great place to enjoy a dinner. The food was off the hook. Jesse our waiter went out of his way to answer all of our many questions. They have many gluten free options. To top it off the place is beautiful!

Service was great even with an event going on in the private room. Very classy atmosphere.

Service was good considering how packed they were with the staff they had. We had to go to the bar to order since we were eating outside, but they brought the food out.

Carrot cake is amazing and well worth it.

I had the Reuben which came with delicious fries. The sauerkraut had a good flavor, but was not as strong as I prefer. The corned beef was the star and stood out over everything. I've had better, but it was good.

My wife had a center-cut sirloin cooked to perfection. It came with some delicious zucchini. She added some beer battered shrimp for ~$5. It was delicious and she had to split it with my daughter after she tried a bite.

My wife has also tried the Rosemary Chicken. I snagged a bite and it was delicious.

They have a brunch menu and I had the opportunity to try the French Toast. It's soft and savory. Pairs very well with the provided syrup and the sliced strawberries on the side.

We tried the frozen jack and coke. It was a bit small, and far more jack than coke (depending on your preference this may be boon or bust).

We came with a group and they had our seats all set and ready for us. JuJu was our server for 31 people and she was awesome! We had all the attention we required, without being neglected! My meal was the grilled rosemary chicken, it was excellent! If you are in Branson Landing, check it out!

So, we are out in Branson for a week here and stopped in hoping to get some food that isn't as bad as many experiences have been so far. This is now our second visit here and we are going one last time before we leave. I hope that says it all.

Food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and all of the staff have been great, especially our server, Brad, who we asked for the second and will again for the third visit.

The menu is smaller, which is better in my opinion, and each plate shows the care put into it. Enjoy!

We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Black Oak Grill in Branson recently with 35 in attendance. Due to the location of the wedding rehearsal being 45minutes away I would not be able to decorate the tables before the dinner. I met with our server Tiffany and left decorations with her and shared how I thought maybe the tables could be decorated. Tiffany is the BEST! When we arrived everything looked great. I could not have been more pleased with all the help from Tiffany. The food was wonderful and Heather helped Tiffany with serving. Tiffany and Heather did an outstanding job. Being from out of state and trying to decide on a rehearsal venue was nerve racking to me but thank goodness Black Oak Grill came through for us. Everyone in our party were pleased and impressed. Thank you Black Oak Grill and especially Tiffany going that extra mile and decorating and for both Tiffany and Heather for excellent service!

Had an amazing lunch here! I had the grilled meatloaf which was by far the best I have ever had. The zucchini was full of flavor and literally melts in your mouth. My husband had the country fried steak and was very impressed. Our waiter was a doll and took excellent care of us. We will be coming back again

Very pleasant experience! I had caeser salad with grilled chicken and a cup of tomato basil soup. Others in our party had grilled salmon with sides; the prime rib dip with fries; and a cheese burger with fries. Everyone agreed the food was excellent, and we were also impressed with the atmosphere and especially our very personable waiter. Keep up the good work!

Had dinner here, was later on in the evening so it wasn't busy. The chicken wings and fried mushrooms were great, I had the prime rib sandwich which was also very good. Definitely would go back.

We were hungry and walking by and it didn’t look busy, so we stopped. Never been here before, but we will be back! Service was great! Super kind and fun. And the food and drinks were fantastic. We got the BBQ Nachos, Chicken Fried Chicken, Black Oak Punch, and sweet tea. All was wonderful!
