I will start this review off with " What a beautiful town and awesome people that make it so" while touring the Carolina coastal towns, we came across Sunset beach North Carolina. This was the first time I've ever been in a beach town that actually didn't charge you to park. I was so confused that I walked into the store a few feet from where I had parked. Now I can tell you about Tracy and John who are the owners of Sunset Beach Trading Co. Two of the nicest people you'd ever meet. I walked in and asked if the parking was actually free. They said it always has been that way but probably next year that would change. No worries because this beach is worth it. Back to Tracy and John. When you walk into their store, they have everything you're looking for and some. I've posted a slew of pictures to show. This is also the first time I've visited a " beach town" where you are treated like family. Tracy and John told us everything we needed to know about sunset beach and some history. This is not a big condo, an over populated vacation spot. This is a perfect place to bring your family and there is the sunset fishing pier where you can pay to walk the pier and or fish. I would definitely like to thank Tracy and John for their kindness and knowledge of sunset beach, thank you for making our experience a positive memory.

My friend and I dropped off our husbands for a full day of fishing, so we had the morning to roam around. We ended up in a beautiful little town called Sunset Beach. Absolutely stunning views and amazing people. The lady at the pier said if we wanted to get something cute that said Sunset Beach on it that we should go to Sunset Beach Trading Company. Boy was she right. A beautiful store with beautiful items for purchase. We met the owners and they were so welcoming and kind. This is the place to go to pick up all of your Sunset Beach needs and souvenirs :) The owners also told us that Nicholas Sparks wrote a book about this area called "Every Breath" and of course I had to pick it up. I was so glad that they had it in stock. Make sure to stop in at this beautiful store the next time you are in Sunset Beach.🏖🌴☀

the cutest store in town, they definitely have something for any and everyone and the staff is super friendly. they also have a rewards card for icees, how cool is that!?

Very nice, clean and well organized store. This store has a big selection of beach related products, gifts and snacks. They have a large selection of very good ice cream. Nice friendly staff.

A small business having just what you need for any beach trip, plus other stuff you didn't remt to pack! AND, they also have the famed Beach Bub umbrella ⛱ that will withstand 35 MPH winds!

Super nice owners... always makes you feel like family... Love going there when I'm at the beach... It's one of my highlights while I'm there...

Wonderful store with lovely owners! Every time we visit SB we get all our fun touristy stuff, homemade fudge and ice cream here. The best!!!! Hands down the best little store on the island. Plus their Instagram stories of the beach make my heart happy and its like a daily visit to my favorite spot from afar.

Amazing store!!! Everything is high quality. The staff are all friendly and so kind. They made me feel so welcomed while I was on vacation! I also ordered from their online store as I wasn’t able to pack everything I wanted. It was shipped within 30 minutes! This is my favorite shop on the island and I will definitely be back in the future!!
Make sure you come in for a snow ball as well!!

John & Tracy are amazing business owners! They engage with every customer that comes through the door. They really make the beach experience worthwhile!

I love this store! The folks that run it are amazing, friendly helpful and just good people. The store has a nice selection of gifts, fudge, ice cream, snoballs and the tshirts and stickers are sweet! A good selection you don’t see anywhere else! Also if you’re dying to take home a hermit crab, they’ve got you covered there too. Stop by! You will not regret it. We feel more like friends than customers now. But I’m glad our friends hook us up with sweet beach shirts!!!

So much to see there! But don't walk by the fudge, buy some!!! The best ever!!!! Staff was delightful as was the young man at the fudge counter. I will stop again next time I am in the area!

Absolutely love Sunset Beach Trading Company. Owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming. From t-shirts, hoodies and hats to mugs, wine tumbles and trinkets, we found something for everyone. Make sure to grab a bag of coffee from a local roaster and a puzzle to take home. Do not skip an ice cream after a day at the beach. I love that the store is locally owned. This is a great little gift shop with a lot of nice souvenirs and beach items most of which are much cheaper than your big beach stores. Shorts also seem better quality than most. Wish I had checked it out sooner before shopping at the big store across the bridge.

This place is a must stop when at Sunset. Great staff, Tuesday snowcones special, and great ice cream. Fun gifts and beach essentials are sold here as well.

I haven't been here in years and it was just as fantastic as I remembered. Great place for all beach needs and wants as well as snow cones and ice cream!

we have been coming here for years! the couple that own the store are always friendly and helpful. it is our go-to place to get sunset beach items - especially stickers and hats! they also had plenty of precautions in place to encourage social distancing, face coverings, etc, which allowed my family to feel safe while we shopped.

I had a nice experience on a cold day today. The manager/owner opened the shop for a bit today to sell to a special customer and I just happened to pop in and found a gift for my husband. Very pleasant and hard working. Thanks for all you do.
