Little Black Creek Campground and Park

Wonderful escape to relax and unplug. The cabin was clean and beautiful! No cell reception for T-Mobile, but AT&T had no issues. Frisbee gulf and the playground was good for those that needed to be entertained

1st time camping, went with my son his fiance and there friends. Had cabin 12, there were in 13.
Even though water in lake was low, it was still a nice place, fished in pond and caught a few perch, raining most of the weekend, but had time to let kids play and run around , they had a blast, ready to return when lake has water. Cabins was spaced pretty good, bait shop could be stocked a little more with main groceries, they were out of bread. Playground was nice for the little ones, and the book box was a nice touch. All in all cabin was clean, but pots and cooking utensils were kinda below average, but next time I know to bring my own. Since I'm a cook in restaurant, I like to do alot of cooking and cook a lot, pots were small. But just will bringy own. Peacefully and relaxing, can't wait to go back. Wanna go in summer time that way grand kids can swim and I can take them riding in canoes and let the m fish a little. Hated to leave .

We love camping at LBC! We bring the kayaks and the mountain bikes. Some of the sites are a bit uneven or the wooden decks need some TLC but for the most part, the sites are in good condition. Many shades sites. Clean. Stay near the playground for entertainment for the kids. Halloween time is a hoot...tons of decorations. The staff is wonderful.

Great way to bring in the New Year. Stayed in Cabin 5. Lots of space. Larger loft than expected. Can’t wait to go back. Kids want to make it a NYE tradition.

Campsites are well situated with power, water and sewer. The view would be better if the lower limbs on the trees were trimmed

Ok, it's not perfect but is a beautiful park and campground,. Lots of trees, right on the lake (ducks, geese & herons spotted ). Quiet and peaceful, would definitely recommend and return again.

Great cabin! Very clean, spacious, and quaint. We had cabin 16H. (It's their handicapped cabin, so that accounts for the extra space.) Two disc golf courses in the park (why we were there) Very nice to not have to travel long distance to get to the courses. The courses themselves were challenging and fun. We will definitely be coming back!

So peaceful out there. Park is well kept. Cabins are always clean. This is my second trip out there in the last few months. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a getaway and some peace and quiet from this hectic world, this is the place I would highly recommend.

Perfect place for a get-away weekend with family! Lots of places to fish, great views.

Stayed in spot #2. Nice sunrise view in the morning watching the fog lift up from the lake. Concrete picnic table. Just long enough to fit my 32ft greywolf and truck without sticking out in the road. Clean, quiet, full hookups. Will definitely be coming back.

You can rent golf carts and flat boats with trolling motors! Gotta be an early bird to get a golf cart! They had a camping convenience store for forgotten items! Beautiful fishing dock! Nice playground and beach area! The cabins are nicely spaced out and private, the cabin are also spacious!

Update: I’ve read the latest reviews on this campground and viewed the pictures which say a thousand words! Our stay has been awhile ago and I’m just now reviewing it, but our cabin at the time was in order and we didn’t have to use the bath houses.

This is a large campground. You can do a lot of bike riding, and walking. RV and tent camping available. Gated park.

We went the weekend before Thanksgiving and the kayaks were not available due to the cold weather. The grounds were clean and from what we saw all RV sites have water and sewerage hookups. Make sure to get a site with a view of the lake. We will return!

Enjoy the Halloween festivities each year (😂 oh and I found Waldo,only a select few will know that one) crawfish boils, has plenty of things to do and clean.

Campsite 15 16 and 17. Needs to be widen. Not enough room when you put your steps down from your camper it's a drop off. Asking please to fix that. Because it is a nice spot.

We can't wait to return. Very pleasant and convenient.

Laura &company posted misleading information. First of all our shower houses are not nasty they are very old. The lake is on winter draw down like every single year. My 2 office personnel are extremely capable of all sites and cabins etc. these people are just strange. Funny they been here for 5 days. They didn’t even go into the main campground at all. Or say anything about the beautiful place there staying at. Good bye. People lie and complain for free stays. If you want come back because there was rust on a bathroom stall door you need a bigger camper. If you lie and bring bugs in just for a free stay. Stay gone. If you are scared of the dark or bugs stay gone. I'm amazed that people complain about our campground for no reason We cannot answer each and every call as we are that busy. We do try to return each and every call. the guest that enjoy Lbc know what I'm saying. the few people that complain out of
10's of thousands that love our campground. Most negative reviews and comments are from disgruntled guest that want a free stay or free ride. I hope that most people see past the negative comments and come see what we really are. We do try to please every single guest. Period!if you post false information about the employees that work tirelessly and just complain because you are an unhappy person you will be red flagged and not allowed back in just to complain. Wow....beautiful campground, great staff....especially check in, Ms Pam, and Sally Ann, perfect weekend! We will definitely be back and this will be a top choice for us. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the campground is well maintained, great level sites, clean, and peaceful. From the young children to the grandparents, we all were pleasantly surprised! The Nettles and their employees have done and are doing a wonderful job making this a top notch destination for campers. I can’t wait to return and the ONLY negative I can give is I had to come back home to the real world. This was the getaway this tired family really needed!! Thank you Little Black Creek Campground!!

Loved this place!! We had 3 cabins for the entire family. They even have handicap cabins!! If you are older, I recommend 1 story cabins as the stairs are steep and narrow. Furniture was rustic, kitchen had plenty of cooking essentials and beds were comfortable. I can't wait to go again!!!

The management here has been nothing but accommodating and very respectful of each and every family's needs. We try to make it out here once a year and the staff has been doing a great job planning events for kids and adults where everyone can enjoy themselves. A bonus is how great they have done keeping the lake stocked and full of nice fish. I'm able to bring my daughter fishing and teach her everything my pops taught me. We will continue to take our family trips here.
