Loved it! Perfect getaway place! Great prices and a beautiful lake. The owners took awesome care of our group and we're a ton of fun to have a few drinks at the bar, great people! Definitely recommended!!!!

The Alfie burger is a must have! It's a whole grilled cheese sandwich for a top bun, then another whole grilled cheese sandwich for a bottom bun with a hamburger and bacon between. Come in hungry. It's more food than 1 man should eat in 1 serving... but we always manage to do it. Tater tots are great, but my favorite is to get the onion rings and put a few on the burger! We always find a reason to stop in anytime we're in the area. You should too.

Food is very good. Atmosphere is very laid back. Not really busy now, but plenty of room to sit and games for kids.

The owner here is amazing. Very family orientated and welcoming. A quiet campground for all to enjoy. If there is a concern the owner listens and will talk to campers. The bar is wonderful to eat at and the lake is an amazing addition for swimming and fishing. I will return here again. Thank you for two wonderful weekends.

Fantastic spot for a meal. Great views from the patio. So nice on the inside. Outstanding fried shrimp, burger and old fashioned. The perfect Northwoods meal.

I've been going to the Rustic Lodge since I was a little girl. I love the place! Friday Night fish fry is amazing! Try it grilled with garlic mashed. O.M.G. A+

Great service clean one of our favorite spots yo stop

We were able to get right in on a Friday night, which was appreciated with two small kids. Deb, the server, was so sweet. The Brandy Old Fashioned was delicious. Kids had chicken tenders (very good), and adults all had the fish fry. Would recommend the grilled fish-it was very tasty! We'll be back again.

We came in 1 minute before the grill closed and they graciously took our order and grilled it. It was delicious. And they thanked us for coming in.

I was there for the first time on a Friday Fish Fry on April 26. Ordered grilled fish and baked potato. Best baked potato I have ever had. Fish was excellent. Wonderful salad bar! Great new owners. Wish them the best!

I can only imagine that the 2 negative reviews are from characteristically difficult customers (every town has a few). First and foremost, there's not a bad item on the menu; trust me, my husband has tried them all. The owners and staff are among the best in the northwoods. They would do anything to make their customers happy. Feel like you didn't get enough fries? Ask for more. Do you feel like your order wasn't brought to you fast enough? Remember, there's only one cook in the kitchen.

Additionally, this is the northwoods, people. You come up here to relax, fish, hunt or go trail riding. If you want speedy, stay in the Cities. The staff regularly has to deal with parties of 10, 20 or more people who suddenly stop in without notice. If you feel you have a legitimate complaint, talk to one of the staff members before posting a bad review. This is a very small hometown business. Your bad review can put them or any small bar/restaurant out of business. Stop in and give them a try. We did and - well, that's why this review is so long. We kinda like the place, lol. You will, too.

The Rustic Lidge is a go to place for a relaxing meal or to have a few drinks with friends. Great location, right off Lake Winter. As a fun aside, I know the building structure is plenty sturdy because my cousin built and originally ran it.

this place has great burgers. we eat them every time we are up north. prices are pretty decent too. there are a couple pool tables and they always have some fun coozies or coasters.

If there's a better place for fish fry or burgers let us know! Super people!
