Beautiful place with a fantastic view via Sunset Properties. They were really quick to want to fix anything we found wrong at the house, but there were lots of fixes. The people were easy to get on the phone.

Great rates for late August, cottage was great. It had all the amenities that you needed. A 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 to 10 minute walk to the pier. Will rent from again in the future.

We just had a wonderful family vacation using one of Sunset Properties. We will absolutely use Sunset Properties again. We were lucky to get a canal rental. If you are lucky to get one of these, make sure to rent a kayak. The house was very clean and a perfect size for our family. We bought linen service and the beds were made when we arrived. We sat on the screen porch every morning and evening watching the water and activities around us. We had one item that needed fixing. We called the maintenance office and they sent someone that day and fixed it, no problem. And, we were able to talk to a real, live person. We would rent through Sunset Properties again. My 11-year-old son would like to comment: The rental was great I had my own room with 2 beds and my brother and I had our own loft with our own t.v. and so did my room i would rate this rental business a 10000000000000000000/5

Best vacation place. Very relaxing a chill island. Small retail shops for food and items like beach chairs. Pier is great for fishing.

We have been renting with Sunset Properties for many years. The employees are always very helpful, finding multiple homes nearby each other for extended family. We also love the fact that some of the homes are dog friendly. The office is conveniently located on the island, and they are happy to help with any maintenance issues that come up during the week. The website is very helpful—it’s so nice to be able to see the bedroom layouts, especially with grandparents and small children in the family. Can’t wait to see you all again next summer!

Best ocean side vacation spot in NC. SUNSET BEACH Island. No high-rise buildings. Only a few "Mom & Pop" shops. The water is warm and very rarely rough. Great for family vacations and reunions.

We have been using Sunset Properties for over 10 years, and have never had any issues. On the few occasions that maintenance was required, it is taken care of promptly. We have always loved Sunset Beach and, in fact, we are preparing to move just down the road. Every vacation we have booked with Sunset Properties has been a splendid respite

We have been renting our week at the beach for many years through Sunset Properties on OIB and have always had a great experience with them. Is everything always perfect? Of course not, but what we have found is that if something is wrong, all we have to do is call and we will get a response. We have had good luck with the properties we rent and have been in the same house for the last 4 years. When we needed to make a change and find a new house due to a family member having difficulties with stairs, they made sure we found a new property that would fit our needs. It saved me probably several hours of looking through the listings trying to figure it out on my own! We look forward to seeing the staff every year and feel confident they will be there for us if we need them! Thank you Sunset Properties for another great week at the beach!!

All the staff were great. Our rental had an A/C problem on arrival. Staff were quick to fix... We went out to dinner & they fixed the problem before we returned. Always have had a pleasant experience when dealing with Sunset Properties .......35 years of renting at Sunset Beach. The best beach ever!!

Absolutely loved this place. The condo we rented was perfect, a short walk to the beach and the Island Market which we frequented both places. The condo felt absolutely like home and not some stuffy hotel room. Short drive to other area fun things to do as well. Great prices and excellent customer service!

This was our 46th year at Sunset Beach and we have used Sunset Properties almost exclusively for beach house rental for at least the past 10 years. They make everything very easy! Sunset Beach is very special to our family and we appreciate the stress-free renting experience.

Excellent houses in great condition at great prices. I go every year for a week with family and enjoy the entire stay of the trip every year. I suggest getting a house close to the beach because it's a pain to walk back in Sandy shorts but other than that the beach is absolutely beautiful and has very soft sand.

Sunset Properties staff was efficient and helpful. They quickly addressed any concerns or issues and provided solutions promptly. The entire rental process was organized and well-managed. Their customer service was very impressive.

Our family has rented from Sunset Properties for many years and we will enthusiastically return next year. We particularly enjoyed the Vacation Vittles this year, since eating out options were limited in Covid time. We hope this offering of fresh produce will continue next year.

Sunset Properties was amazing to deal with! Every person I spoke with was not only kind, but also very quick to answer and help with any questions I had about our vacation. We are a new family to Sunset Properties, but we will be using them for every summer we visit Sunset from here on out! This vacation spot has been great for our family. It has become a tradition to come here every summer for us. The homes are priced to suit any vacation budget and a great place for the family. The beach is clean and no rental is too far from the ocean!!
