Whittet's Country Store

This is *the* place to go meat shopping in Alva. Their chicken fried steaks and salmon filets are to die for! The staff is friendly, and although they don't have rock-bottom prices like Walmart, the quality of their meat makes it well worth the premium. On top of all that, this is a locally-owned store that supports the community.

Best place for any meat you want. Fresh cuts of any kind. The options for cheese is great. Also have some meat spreads made up and sides prepared. A+

This is by far the best place to get fresh cuts of meat, as well as gourmet cheese. The prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They can help steer(pun intended) you in the right direction and help you choose the perfect selection of beef, poultry, pork, or fish.

Whittets always has a wide variety of meats as well as cheese and soups. It's the only place I will go for hamburger and roasts. I am always greeted with a smile.
