Such a beautiful location. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it.

A huge storm came through and it was amazing!

We rented a few cabins for a family vacation, and this entire park is so clean, well maintained, and gorgeous, we could not believe it! The cabins were excellent. Very comfortable and clean. The lake is so nice and the water is clear and just beautiful, and full of huge bass! Staff were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend LETRA to anyone looking to get away for a while to relax and enjoy nature!

Nice beach! The kids always have a lot of fun. The restrooms are clean and there are showers and changing areas. There are also baby changing tables in the restrooms. There are 2 giant canopies that can fit multiple families. The view is beautiful of the mountains. $6.00 for the car load for the day is super cheap. (Military rate) There was a ATM just past the gate. There are life guards on duty.

We did not use them but there are paddle boats and kayaks for rent.

There are some RV spots right across the street from the beach.

Beach hours are Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 7pm.

Great staff, full RV hooks ups 50amps/sewer/water. Rock pads are semi level. Beautiful views, great fishing.

This is so far our favorite place to stay after staying in about 4 different locations since our camping adventures began a few months ago. It's quite, the people are friendly and the lake is the clearest most beautiful lake I've ever been to in this part of the country. We are staying again this weekend!

Family day was so fun!! Kayaking, paintball, archery, and the water slide were a hit with our family. The hotdogs were tasty also.

We stayed here for 3 months… Our first time here and what a wonderful experience… friendly staff, beautiful scenery & sunsets.. lots of wildlife- elk, deer, armadillo, bobcat, 2hogs… great resale shop on base… experiences here like no other campground… enjoyed seeing different military vehicles, hearing the booms at all times of day/night as soldiers don’t only work day shift and loved the horses… if you have PTSD or sensitive to loud noises this may not be the place for you.

Had a blast here today, for the Army appreciation day! Friendly staff throughout the park and plenty of fun things to do. They have a putt putt golf, water slide, boat rentals (kayaks, paddle boats, and more). They have several playgrounds and picnic/barbecue areas. I saw some RV's aswell. Check this place out!!

Had a nice day trip here. The paddle boats were fun, and the water was nice to swim in. The picnicking areas were well kept and had grills. Thinking about coming back to kayak to the other side of the lake that we didn't make it to.

This is a great place to bring your family, there's plenty of kayaking, boating, fishing, mini golf, archery, and so much more!

Nice place for a day outside with the water to cool you down! They have some grills you can use, a water slide, lots of rentals, and the water is really great.

Went to Lake Elmer Thomas today since quinette pool was closed before the end of the season. We had a great time. It was about the same price. We haven't been there before. It reminds me of the lake back home I'm AZ. I like the beach area. The restrooms have showers to get all the sand off. I appreciated that. Good times.

Loved staying here.. lots for the kids to do,and great fishing.. cabin is a little small . But we made it work with 7 people ... enjoyed every second being there .

Hidden 💎 with plenty of excitement to do, plus lots of 🌞, or if you prefer.. do very little and relax with your toes in the sand. Suggest arriving early to make sure you get a spot under 1 of 2 shaded canopies, or make sure to bring your own canopy or ⛱.

The water slide and the lake is just awesome especially with the catfish in the waters there so cool

My family had a great time. We played on the double water slide. The lifeguards are really nice there. We had a blast at the sand beach swimming area & playing in the sand.

Nice place this was on the back end and their is a peer there and clean bathrooms

A very beautiful place to visit

I went to LETRA for the kayak tour. It was so extremely relaxing and fun. We got to see some long horn of to the side. Also pet friendly.

Whiticha Moutains as a background, fhu sites of good size, friendly camping neighbors, and reasonable prices makes an excellent destination for camping
