Valir Physical Therapy - Midwest City

The therapists are amazing and do a wonderful job. If it was a matter of therapy only, I would give 5 stars. However, the front office is a mess. While I was in therapy, they were often unable to find paperwork for me to sign. At the end of my therapy, I was assured countless times that my bill was all paid up and contacted the office to be certain of this. 5-6 months later I received a large bill. When I called the office, she admitted that it was a mistake on her end and promised to check to see if the bill can be waived. She assures me that she will get back to me within the week. 2 weeks go by with no contact. I called back and she tells me that she talked to management “in passing” and that there is nothing they can do. I am thankful that they are able to do payments, but the lack of organization in the office has led to many mistakes that are impacting their patients. The lady in the front office told me that she doesn’t understand the billing. Near the beginning of my treatment, she called my insurance and then called me to tell me what I’d owe. Now I owe more money that I was not expecting. Typically, medical offices are very clear and straight forward with their billing. In her words “they dropped the ball.”

Amendment: After posting this review, I received a call from the corporate office within hours. I am very impressed with their professionalism and willingness to make this right. They investigated the issue and made an apology without excuse. They made it all right in an above and beyond way. She made it clear that they will take this as a learning opportunity to ensure that their patients are taken care of.

Everybody here is exceptional at their job. My therapist Charlie is awesome. I pick on her. She puts up with me put me through pain. That’s a good pain.She Get me back to where I need to be so I can get back to work Eric and the tire crew here are awesome.

Eric Browning is an excellent PT. He pushed me beyond what I thought I could do while always assessing my progress. And in the process, not only did I strengthn my back and regain use of it without pain, I found a new confidence and mindset and learned so much. I am so grateful! I have kept going on my own now that PT has concluded, but I will miss the coaching and accountability as well as the friendly atmosphere at Valir. All of the staff were kind and helpful. Here's to a fit and healthy 2024 as I keep on!

This Valir experience has been the best PT I have ever had. Charlie is my Therpist and she is the best one I have ever had. I definitely recommend this location for treatment.

These guys are great!!! Started going here mid February in a lot of nerve pain in neck and hand, I'm leaving today in very little pain.

There is a real difference in PT providers. I didn’t realize that until going to Joy at Valir. She really listened and asked questions at the first visit and continues to ask if each new exercise is comfortable, how home exercises are going, and offers alternatives as indicated. She seems to be constantly assessing and thinking ahead about additional exercises instead of using a rote set of techniques for every similar patient. She’s considerate and adjusts the difficulty to both match my current ability and my desired speed of progression, as well as making the homework challenging enough without taking up an inordinate amount of time every day. I give her my unqualified recommendation.

Eric Browning and his team did an excellent job in helping me overcome a groin injury. They had about four weeks to get me healed so I could play in my 9th Seniors Softball World Championship in Las Vegas. I greatly appreciate everything that Eric and his team did to get me ready. I would highly recommend their services if you ever need them.

I started going to physical therapy at 8 weeks postpartum for pelvic floor therapy. Pelvic floor therapy has helped me so much! It’s been a life changer! Makayla Walker is the absolute best! I highly recommend seeing her! I also bring my baby with me during therapy and everyone there loves him! Schedule your appointment today!! You will feel so much better!

Started seeing Makayla about a month ago for pelvic floor therapy and it has been life changing. She has helped me tremendously these last few weeks and I continue to learn more about my body and the proper ways to stretch and strengthen my muscles. Thank you Makayla and Valir-MWC.

I have been coming here for several months now, and oddly enough I always look forward to my appointments. The entire staff is friendly and they maintain a very pleasant and fun atmosphere. Eric has done an outstanding job of creating an awesome team for this place!
Joy is an absolute dream. She is caring and compassionate, and I always enjoy my conversations with her. She is very knowledgeable and is doing an awesome job with my lower back.
Brit is the best massage therapist I have ever been to!! You can really tell she knows what she’s doing, and she’s not afraid to get in deep with my muscles and really gives me a ton of relief.

The physical therapy team at Valir in Midwest City does an outstanding job of evaluating and working to rehab most any physical condition needed, extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I have been going 3 times a week for 2 months. Everyone I have worked with has been very professional and has genuine concern for my health. They have been following my doctors orders and yet they make sure you are improving. I give them a thumbs up in all areas !!!! Keep up the great work Valir

Kristin is amazing! She has helped me so much with Pelvic Floor Therapy. I can not even begin to thank her for all time she has spent with me and helping me to understand exactly what is going on with my body/mind. She has helped me mentally, emotionally and physically. I was in an unfortunately bad accident. I was rear ended while I was at a stoplight and the car behind me was going 40mph. This left me with whiplash and bulging discs in my neck and lumbar spine. I started treatment in October 2022 and I’m about to finish end of March 2023. When I first came in I couldn’t turn my head, put on my own shoes, and so many daily self care tasks like washing my hair were painful or impossible. MaKayla was so kind to me. I was in so much pain when I first came in and she calmly and kindly assessed me for treatment and I know I wasn’t very pleasant. I went from not walking, constant migraines, very limited mobility and 24/7 pain… to now I can live my life again. I can turn my head to drive safely, I can look up to watch the sermons at church and look down to read my Bible. I can completely dress myself and care for myself unassisted again. I can care for my family again and I’m even back in the gym! I was in a really painful and depressed state when I came in the first time. Thinking my life I loved of the gym, traveling, hiking, and being active with my husband and daughter were over. I cried and was worried I’d never get to go back to my calling of pastoring because I was in so much pain and physically ill from migraines. But MaKayla took care of me, helped my body heal, spoke encouragement over me and challenged me to trust the healing work that has happened in my body. I was so scared of being injured again from one wrong move. I never want to experience that life again. I’m so thankful for MaKayla and all the time she spent with me. I’m thankful for Eric who has knowledge beyond words and does so much to create a safe, knowledgeable and excellent care team. The amount of knowledge of the body in this facility is beyond incredible. I’m going to miss talking to LaRue about what we are learning and podcasts, Joy and her recent fashion finds and travels and Eric with his wisdom and playlists, and MaKayla who taught me so much about advocating for myself, listening to my body and all our convos that made me laugh and smile. This place changed my life. I get to be a wife, mom, pastor and friend again. I get to look forward to adventures and tie my own shoes again. I get to live out God’s calling for my life. I thought all of that was changed forever and taken from me. But God is good and Valir MWC is good too.

McKayla is a great physical therapist and Valir has been a great place to go in Midwest city! I’ve have improved so much and everyone is so nice.

I went to Valir Physical Therapy - MWC. Makayla Walker helped me learn the exercises I needed to resolve my problem. After going to several physical therapy appointments, I feel so much better now because Makayla helped me through the process of getting better. Makayla is very patient. She explained the process to me. Now, I can do my daily activities because of her help.
