This is a wonderful neighborhood park. I was surprised at every turn. There is a body of water and a river, I think? I need to look it up and update this.

I love all of the trees and exploring this park. There is plenty of signage.

Restrooms were open and available. There a small playground area for kids.

I even found a waterfall! It looked like there was a small water fountain that wasn’t working today. In that section of the park, there was also a bench, two archways, and so much more.

There are so many trees! I can say enough good things about this place. Picnic tables are found throughout. They are large picnic tables in the shape of a t or plus sign.

It is a beautiful location for a sunrise or sunset. It’s a guaranteed great day to start or end it here. It’s a peaceful place.

I hope to visit again soon!

My 1st time being here and it's a beautiful little park! Very quiet and serene. I live about 30 min away and came upon this park for a circus that came to town. We brought our kids here as it was our daughters 11th birthday. The area is beautiful with random picnic areas and outdoor grills. It has a little lake with a walkway bridge and lots of shade trees! It's an excellent place for photography! It's not a park where you can bring small children and just let them run free, however, as the lake has no fence around it. But its definitely a place I plan on visiting again very soon!

Really nice park i came out for a family reunion that was my first year to go to this reunion because i am new to the family that has been coming for 84 years i thought it was nice had a cool swinging bridge and a pretty clean bathroom that had obviously been recently clean heavy bleach smell which is good to know that its getting cleaned id say only improvements id ask for being here 1 time is a more updated but does not have to be too modern playground with some slides and stuff as a couple lil family members wanted to go to the playground and go down the slide.. but keep the playground equipment they have as the family i am newly married in to is fond of it all in all it was a great time and a very interesting time and the place has A LOT OF HISTORY

This is a very large and beautiful tree covered park in Northeast Walters Oklahoma.
Whether you're out for a picnic, fishing, walking or even frisbee golf, this is the place to go.
Did I mention it's beautiful?

Beautiful park with walking trails that can be lit at night. Public restrooms, ample parking. We've had birthday parties, baby showers and welcome home parties here. Access to electricity allows for parties at night. Gorgeous place for photo sessions.

Went here for Comanche Homecoming powwow. It was beautiful, they fixed the bridge and the play area looks great.

What a beautiful little park. Not knocking Walters, OK but I did not know what I expected but it was not a park this nice. Quiet, shaded, and well-maintained. Makes me wish it wasn't over an hour away.

Wonderful. Clean bathrooms . 5 bucks a night to camp . The Bunkhouse rv park less then 2 mile away charges 35 a night . And not as nice as the 5.00 a night .

Comanche homecoming powwow.. Awsome think it might move to a more hospitable place next year. Overbearing police is the only drawback. But it really draws it back. Dont expect to avoid them all weekend. And might want to start saving early for the legal fees. Dont even spit on the sidewalks during powwow week. Seems rodeo crowd doesnt have to deal with such harassment but since i never go i wouldnt be sure.
