This is my favorite bookstore in the city
because Courtney (business owner) keeps an incredible selection of hard to find African American literature and fashion. Courtney was also kind enough to come and teach my students about the importance of business and publishing!

From her welcoming spirit to her thoughtfully accented store, I.like.Courtney. She's genuine...I can tell. Looking forward to more chats and endeavors!

Belle Books Boutique and More is an amazing place to be they have everything you can think of and they have stuff for the entire family. I loved the overall aesthetic of the store and the fact that they have tons of local merchandise. Moreover I love the friendliness of the staff and plentifulness of gear to purchase, I will be returning very soon.

We went to 7 year old Sammy Wallace III's book signing held at Belle's. Intimate setting chock full of boutique one of a kind items. I promised to find a date to return and browse for unique finds. Good shopping therapy place.

I so much adored visiting this shop. I was looking for a last minute birthday gift for my step daughter so I searched the internet for black owned boutiques shops on the east side and I found this shop. I called before I went only because I was way too excited to here that there was another book store on the east side. I called to make sure it was true. 😁
I wanted to purchase a pacific kind of item for my daughter’s birthday but the item wasn’t there and I was in a rush. The lady over the phone was warm and friendly. I thought that I would’ve had to shop somewhere else and try the book store some other time but nope, since the lady was ready to go up and above to accommodate me I had decided to go ahead and go to the book store. They lady who’d been on the phone with me had already let the store but there was another welcoming lady in her place. I am glad that I went to their book store since I brought my step daughter a few hand made gifts from a couple of locals vendors. Thank you very much to the ladies.

I like how I can go in with a vision and Courtney help me to put it together. Sometimes she enhances it passed my initial vision. And them when I step out, it be the looks for me!

I love this place because It has a variety of things such as books for children and adults, shoes, fedoras,etc
