Riverwalk Shops

Lots of really cool shops. Some nice gift ideas created by local artists. A must see. Everyone here is super nice and helpful.

I was a little nervous before our Blue Ridge Scenic Railway trip, because there were people that said lots of shops were boarded up post-pandemic. However, I only saw one place boarded up - most shops and restaurants were open for business and seemed to be eager to welcome shoppers and diners again.

Definitely recommend checking out and spending some time here!

Visited Riverwalk Shops and while I was only able to visit one shop the indoor shopping center seemed well put together. The other stores were crowded since it was a day that the train stopped for a break in Copperhill. The shopping center was well decorated for Halloween and every shop attendant I saw offered smiles and good cheer. I cannot wait to get to go back! No photos, sorry. We had two toddlers in tow and one was scared of the dim lights and spooky ambience.

What a great place to spend the afternoon in an awesome small town. Great restaurants, on the river and many unique local shops.

A nice shopping area in McCayesville. They have re-engineered an older building into an indoor mall like facility with interconnected passageways.

Good shopping and good food. Ate at the Twisted Tomato and tried their wood fired pizza. Very tasty.

I wish it had been about 30 degrees warmer, but it was an excellent visit.

This is the Hicks clinic. Dr. Hicks sold over 200 babies out the back door of his clinic.
Told the mothers that their babies had died and sold them for $1,000. The tv series is on HULU. "Taken at birth" Sad.

We had a Great time Shopping here and not even the rain 🌧 took away from the good times and great deals we found! Lots to see, do and eat arround the shops and we look forward to coming back again when the weather is a little better too, haha... 😁👍🏼

Grail movie house has small theaters and excellent refreshments!

Great hangout/shopping/eating place on the river. Totally different vibe from nearby Blue Ridge. Great addition to the area.

I love "Christmas is Here" and the Rock and Mineral shop. Favorites I visit when in area.

Love this place !! The rock and mineral shop was our fave. Great prices, friendly service. Great selection of rocks and minerals without breaking the bank.
