Polzin Family Dental

Great practice. I stayed here even when my insurance was out of network for a short period of time. What pushed me to write a review was how attentive Dr. Ed was when I had a filling fall out yesterday. Not only did he return my phone call on a SUNDAY, he 1.) offered to meet me in the office if need be. 2.) provided what to expect and direction in case I needed help. 3.) most importantly, he was able to squeeze me this morning to fill the tooth. Thank you for all that you do, I can’t imagine a better family practice. Lastly, the front desk is very helpful. Not only do they take time to answer all my questions, but they are patient when explaining responses to me which is greatly appreciated.

We picked out Polzin Family Dental when we moved back to Appleton several years ago and we have been very pleased. The dentists are experienced and very practical, and the charges (with my dental insurance) are very reasonable and fair. At this practice they don't recommend every dental procedure under the sun if it's not really necessary - they've been great about identifying minor issues that we can just keep an eye on, and doing different levels of fillings depending on severity. So, the few times they have said we need to do more advanced dental work, I have been able to trust them.

The hygienists are great too. They have a great bedside manner with small children, and feel gentle during my own cleanings. I have noticed as well that there's not a lot of turn over - the same team is there year after year. That probably means the employees are happy, but it also means the staff are experienced, comfortable, and work well together.

This a good dentist. They are honest and do a very good job. In a pinch, they were able to schedule an appointment for an urgent but not an immediate need. I feel bad leaving my previous dentist as he is good too. The pandemic didn't help that matter. All in all, Polzin did a great job in a pinch.

My parents have been bringing me here since my first cleaning, and my family has been going since they became Polzin's. Amazing family business, where the kindness is genuine and you truly feel like part of the family. Keep up the great work!

The entire staff is amazing. Very patient and understanding. Dentists and hygenists do great work. My mother who doesn't speak English says she prefers going to them because they do phenomenal work and always make her feel welcome.

My family has been going here for decades. Honest, friendly, very professional. There is no high pressure sales to do anything other than why you are there. It is a model of how to run a business.

To whoever posted less than five stars, I think you misinterpreted something. Your description does not fit this place or these people at all.

Dr Polzin and all the people in this office have been amazing to work with. So gentle and understanding and explained my options. Definitely happy with this staff!

I have insurance that’s not very good and does not cover very many places but I choose to come here and pay. I trust both dentists here. Also great staff.

Good people

I saw Dr. Polzin to get a crown popped back in while visiting family here. While he did a fine enough job, I was put at unease by the Confederate flag calendar on his wall and felt it would be remiss not to warn others who might see him beforehand; if this ever were to happen again I think I'd shop around elsewhere.
