Title: A Gem Worth Visiting!

Review: ★★★★★

During our recent visit to Das Peach Haus, we were absolutely delighted by the experience, despite arriving just before closing time. This unique destination captured our hearts and curiosity from the moment we stepped in. The array of offerings and the serene outdoor activities visible even in our brief visit have us eager to return and explore everything in detail. What stood out most, however, was the exceptional customer service; the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Das Peach Haus isn't just a place to visit; it's an experience to cherish. We'll definitely be back early next time to fully immerse ourselves in all the cool and engaging activities they have to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable outing!

What a neat place! They have great sauces and great wine. The pond in the back is gorgeous. Definitely take a moment to enjoy one of the seating areas around the pond. Looks like a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and catch the sunset!

Great place to have some fun! It includes a shop (selling local jams, sauces, and wines), wine testing, cooking classes, and a very nice porch next to a little pond. You can try a bunch of sauces and jams. All wines we tried are awesome! We finished with about 20 bottles of wines. I'll definitely come back and spend an eve next to the with a glass of wine.

Visited Das Peach Haus with a couple of girlfriends and we had a FANTASTIC experience. We tried a couple of different wines but we all loved the Hill Country Peach wine. The ambience was relaxing and we could've stayed here all evening (they close at 6pm on Saturdays). The decor, inside and outside, was a festive fall and provided plenty of photo opportunities. On my way out of the store, I came across pralines that resembled the ones that my grandmother used to make when I was a kid; hoping to be filled with nostalgia, I bought four. I was NOT disappointed. One bite into the praline and I was transported to Granny's kitchen. Granny's been gone for almost 17 years now and I never thought I'd find a praline that came close to hers, but I did here. Thank you Das Peach Haus for both of these experiences. My only regrets are not having brought wine to bring home with me (can't bring them through TSA) and not having bought more pralines!

I had a great time here. I tried some of their jams/sauces, had a charcuterie board and sampled some wine near their pond. I’d love to take a cooking class next I visit.

Easily one of my favorite places in Fredericksburg! I love the outdoor space with the pond in the back. It’s beautiful, serene, and great for the whole family. They have a variety of mainly fruit wines to sip on. I’m not even a sweet wine drinker, but I love the Hill Country Peach. A must try!!

Awesome hidden gem. The outside ambiance is good. Lot of free samples of peach flavored items to try out. The cobbler and ice cream was good. Very friendly staff. Self service wine tasting option. Nice place to hangout.

Such a nice store with jams, jellies, canned peaches, oils, kitchen tools etc! You can do a wine tasting, self serve, for $25/6 drinks I believe. We’ll do that next time we visit! They also have a beautiful backyard with a pond that has many fish and turtles. You can buy about a half cup of fish food for $1 and it was so fun to feed them all. Definitely want to visit when it’s cooler.

A fun little spot with a general store and wine tasting! The wine tasting is $20 each and you get 5 little cups. They give you a card and you use the self serve machine to choose your 5 wines. My friends got the wine tasting while I got a glass of the hill country peach, which was delicious. There’s limited seating inside but lots of seating outside by the small pond. There was also live music outdoors. Overall, an enjoyable relaxing experience!

We were in the Fredericksburg area visiting winery's and decided to stop in this one. This one is unique, and that is because this is a general store along with a bar/winery area off to the side, inside the same-store area.

There was a gentleman there behind the bar / counter. Basically, they sell little plastic shot glasses of wine. The 5 shot glasses will run you $20. After you've dispensed and tested your wines, you can probably determine which bottle you want to take with you or drink on the property.

If you decide you drink it there, get a chilled bottle out of the chiller, pay for it, let them know how many glasses you want and go find a place by the lake and enjoy your bottle(s).

The 7 of us just enjoy the peaceful area, conversation, and wine sitting by the man-made lake. It was an overcast afternoon, but the temperatures were cool and refreshing, which made it really nice to sit there and enjoy the 2 bottles of wine. After this, we decided to go into Fredericksburg and dine.

I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Nice find off the Main Street or 290, so glad I went back after I didn't find it online until my way out. You initially walk in the storefront that sells everything from jams, cider, desserts, little kitchen items, etc... The tasting room is self-service where you pay $4 for each 4 oz. automated pour. You receive a card which you insert into an automatic pouring machine. There were about 12 wines from white to red and sweet to dry. I personally enjoyed the peach wine as it was light and refreshing without being too sweet.

You're able to buy the same wines by the glass or bottle to go or take outside to the large sitting areas. There's a large patio area where a live band plans. There's also a nice pond area with a large amount of chairs, benches, and tables to sit and enjoy nature. The pond area was very nice to just sit, drink some wine, look at the water, and listen to all the insects. The chairs and tables are spread out around the entire pond, so everyone has their own personal space. The patio with live music was a good distance from the pond, so could enjoy either area depending upon your mood. I tried the pond are, but will try the live music next time as it's on the list to return.

Stop here if you are in Fredericksburg! If you like sweet wine the peach wine is a must try. My family & I tasted nearly all of the sauces/dips they had available and were so impressed. Our favorites were the peach salsa and bruschetta. They have a nice outdoor spot to hang out.

Super cute business and piece of land! Love that they created a whole outside area to tour! Walking paths around flower gardens, a cooking school, a lily pond that is beautiful to sit by while you enjoy the raspberry chipotle sauce over cream cheese and your wine. The retail store is great, too! Tons of options for all your cooking needs!
