Roasted Clove catered my husband’s 40th birthday party and the food was phenomenal!! Crab cakes made on site, pizza baked on site in their pizza oven, mushroom tartlets, caprese salad, orzo salad- everything was delicious. Our guests couldn’t get enough!! His staff was also so professional and courteous. I was impressed. Call them for catering- you won’t be disappointed.

Thin crust, non-greasy pizza with quality, fresh ingredients. It’s not your regular chain pizza place. It’s more expensive and well worth it. We had a veggie pizza and added pepperoni and salami. Everyone loved it. Greek salad was super fresh. Tiramisu was great too. It seems the best two restaurants in town are this place and the taco stand right next to it.

Wow! I’ve ordered your pizza and lasagna a number of times the past year or so. Both are amazing! I moved here years ago from NJ and NY the last few yrs. I have missed good pizza so much and yours is excellent! I’m so glad that last night I decided to ask if you had any specials. The mango mahi mahi was absolutely incredible! I’d say it was the best meal I’ve had in years! I raved to my family about it and told them we had to order from you when they came to visit! I think I could eat a loaf of that bread at once too! Keep up the good work!

We went here on impulse based on some of the reviews and absolutely LOVED it... the guy who brought our pizza out had t-boy swag so we were already hopeful and it lived up. Probably the best pizza I've had in who knows how long

We ordered the veggie pizza! It was very delicious even my one year old thought so she ate a whole slice! 10 out of 10! We love supporting small local businesses!

So yeah, if you're looking to save a buck and enjoy frozen pizza crust and canned toppings, by all means visit the local quickies. If you're looking for great home made pizza and other specialties, visit this place. Pizza and ingredients are fresh and the 4 cheese pizza is the bomb! We order here almost weekly and there is not another place in Portland that comes close. I recommend to everyone that asks where to get good Italian. Always rave reviews.

Ordered catering for Thanksgiving for a crew of 59. And literally all 59 employees said they loved it. Smooth process 10/10.

Placed an online order for carryout. Arrived on time and was met almost immediately with hot food, which stayed hot until I arrived home 15 minutes later.
The pizza was thin crust (my favorite) and the spices were balanced perfectly. I like a lot of toppings, so I ordered extra meat. The only thing I would do differently next time is add fresh mozzarella. Fettuccine alfredo sauce was homemade with roasted garlic, cream, butter and parmesan cheese. So delighted to have fresh, real ingredients in the food. I have a very sensitive palate and can tell when cheap ingredients have been substituted. Thank you for really, really good Italian food.

I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I filter through and find value in what others write, so I hope this is helpful to someone else. I have been ordering food from VHP for several months. The location can be easily passed by, and I was a little hesitant to try it. Mark and his crew are always friendly over the phone, and in person.
The pizza is fantastic! It's really hard to find a good pizza, so I feel incredibly lucky that Mark opened up here in Portland. The dough makes the pizza IMHO, and this dough is perfect. The sauce is flavorful, yet doesn't overpower, and lets the ingredients shine. The cheese and toppings are proportioned nicely and the whole pizza comes together the way a pizza should. The pizza is honestly so good that I haven't tried anything else on the menu.
My wife orders the Brutus salad which is very hearty. They pack the container full and it's a meal on its own. Mark recommends the caesar dressing which pairs very nicely.
One day I will try some of the other entrees on the menu. If they put as much attention into the other items as they do the pizza, then I know I won't be disappointed.

This was one of the best meals that I’ve had from a restaurant since post pandemic. I had the Shrimp Piccata with Angel hair pasta. I knew it would be good, but not as great as it was! I also got the Tiramisu and wow! I’m so glad I ordered from here! I highly recommend food from here. Also I highly recommend eating at Venetian Hot Plate in Port Aransas. I had Mark do my wedding this weekend. All I can is AMAZING! We did fajitas and my husband does not like fajitas and he said I loved it. He made mini tamales and in one bite it had so much flavor. Then we had individual cheesecakes and they were so rich and amazing! His presentation of the food and everything down to every detail was perfect. Hand made Tortillas!!! Mark answered all my questions and was very professional. The price was beyond reasonable. If I have another event in the area I will be calling him back. Thanks Mark for making my wedding awesome!

Our wedding was catered this October and the food was excellent. We had mostly Italian dishes at our wedding but during our taste test it was evident that all the food options were amazing (Made it hard to narrow down what we wanted to serve our guests). Very personable and responsive to your needs and preferences. Would highly recommend for anyone needing food catered at an event!

This is the only place in Portland we will order out from. Always excellent, always great service. The one time we had a pizza that wasn’t perfect, they remade it and delivered to our residence within 20 minutes. Thank you Roasted Clove!

This is hands down the best Italian food and pizza in the coastal bend! We have ordered from here for years and it just keeps getting better. So grateful to have such an amazing restaurant in Portland!

We did the taco bar including beef, chicken and shrimp. Everything was wonderful. We also did individual cheese cake with mango, chocolate and caramel toppings also wonderful. Perfect for a small wedding group like ours!

Mark and his team did an amazing job at my wedding. Throughout the planning process, I was able to ask questions and receive recommendations which made choosing food easy. Everything we ate was delicious! I highly recommend VHP catering if you are planning an event and want quality service.

I've had lasagna from tons of places. Roasted clove has some of the best lasagna ive had in years. Definitely recommend trying
