We recently moved here and became weekly regulars to Macs. They have one of the best homemade potato salad imo. Brisket is always consistently good with awesome sausage.

Keep in mind, this is Texas BBQ. Some of the lower star reviews seem to not know what Texas BBQ tastes like.

Great place for a Texas breakfast, lunch or dinner.
As a family of Brits who've been here a couple of times the food and service has always been incredible.
Great price, I had the 3 meats (Turkey, Beef Rib and Brisket) can't beat it.
Slow cooked mear, sweet tea andna selection of sides. Always recommend Macs of Rockport for some good eating. Home made sauces, sides and meat, the quality shows!

I didn't get any pictures because it was too good to stop and dig my phone out of my purse. I had the poor boy special. A hoagie with three meats, all tender, moist and flavorful, with a side of Mac and cheese and broccoli salad. The broccoli salad fell a bit flat for me, I'm used to it being a bit sweeter, but the Mac and cheese made up for it. It had a bit of toastyness and wasn't dry or stodgy. It had a nice creamy texture with good flavor. My husband had the turkey sandwich, pinto beans and Mac and cheese. The turkey was also moist and flavorful. The beans were great also, with tons of flavor. Beans aren't my thing, but I wish I had got them instead of the broccoli. We finished it off with a cherry cobbler and spent about $35 for it all including two drinks. I definitely would recommend.

This place is incredible. The price is reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. Everyone here was very welcoming to my wife and I and the atmosphere felt warm and happy. If you are ever in Rockport and want good barbecue this is the place to go!

Hubby had the Brisket and Chicken plate, sorry didn't get a chance to get pics, he was too busy digging in lol. And for me, I ordered my Poor Boy plate! So yummy for the tummy! Delicious, juicy BBQ! I had some of the best brisket ever! The sides were good too. Quick, friendly service and a nice, clean BBQ restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Find the animals and the smell will lead you. Coming from O-HI-O, this was AMAZING. FINGER-LICKING good. It reminded me of school cafeteria serving method with sitting area available. I got double mac and pork ribs. Definitely returning.

First time here. I had the po boy sandwich and two sides. It was absolutely amazing. All 3 meats on my sandwich were delicious. I had mac and cheese and potato salad as my sides. They were incredible! I also got jalapenos, pickles, and onions for my sandwich as well! Absolutely delicious and good priced! The employees were super friendly and helpful. Alm around welcoming and great experience!! Cant wait to come back.

Fast service, friendly workers. Has a drive-through. If I were a Rockport resident, I would be going there very frequently.

First time here. Will b returning for sure. Need brisket was the bomb as well as the potato salad and mac and cheese.
Friendly service very fair prices. I got the dr plate for around 9 dollars and had enough leftovers for 2 more meals.

Food is ALWAYS delicious! The beef ribs are fantastic! Everytime I go in I plan on trying something new but I never do lol plus the service is great!!

Huge shout out to Mac's for catering our NJROTC Unit event today. It was hot & soooo delicious! Highly recommended, we will be ordering again!!

Some of the best BBQ I've had in three plus decades: exceptional turkey. Great smoke ring on the sausage. The potato salad with hard-boiled eggs is also tops.

We picked up a family meal for 8 people (including 2 teenager boys) and hardly anything left! It was all delicious 😋!

This place in my opinion has the best bbq and all the sides. A must try if you haven't

This place is amazing. Wonderful staff, delicious food, what is not to love? Trust me when I say you do not want to miss out eating here. The locals are truly blessed to have such a great place for BBQ! You need to visit and grab some food when you are in town.
