Awesome local restaurant. Definitely has different selections. I had the BBQ Shrimp and Grits. It was delicious. Tried Meg's Paloma as well. Wasn't crazy about the addition of gin to a Paloma but, at least these guys are trying different things. Forget our waitress' name but, she was wonderful. We didn't have a reservation but, seems like it's a good idea here, especially on a weekend.

Amazing service immediately when I walked in. Server was very nice and gave me the specials and soup of the day. I got the Cesar wrap instead but it was absolutely delicious and the price reflected the food quality well. Atmosphere felt very open and welcoming. Would 100% come here again!

We are pretty regular here, and there’s a reason why. The food is top notch, drinks tasty and service is always fantastic.

Sometimes we bring our kids in burger night, sometimes we come for special occasions like NYE. Always get the Buffalo cauliflower and Crème Brûlée!

If you find yourself in this delightful little town, DO NOT MISS THIS! The menu has great variety, with a fresh, modern flair in a quaint building with original tin ceiling and the classic architecture of small town America. I had a delicious meal in a very friendly & pleasant environment.

In southern il including the metro east; there is no better Steak. Specifically, their BACON JAM Encrusted Filet! This is whistle pig bourbon which is smooth as silk.

Absolutely the very best steak I have ever put in my mouth. Great food and atmosphere. Family owned and operated. Vegetarian options for my husband is always a plus.

Reserved a table online and provided information that two in the party had dietary restrictions, one with celiac disease and one who is allergic to nightshade. While I have eaten here countless times over the years and have always had excellent dining experiences, I was most impressed on this visit. Megan, front of house manager, was our server, and she was very knowledgeable and personable. She was very attentive throughout our visit and was also very engaged with the other tables of customers. I photographed 1) our delicious adult beverages - Old Fashioned, Pilgrim, and Lavender Lemonaide (a pat on the back to the bartender for crafting drinks that appealed to taste buds and eyes alike); 2) my Strawberry Praline Salad with Garlic Shrimp; and 3) Creme Brulee. One friend had Strawberry Praline Salad with Blackwned Chicken and the other ordered Shrimp Scampi. Every morsel was delicious and we recommend it all! Megan topped off the Creme Brulee (that Katie makes in-house) by carmelizing the sugar topping with the flame at our table! I can't put into words how much it meant to us to know that the surfaces were cleaned prior to prepping our food and other precautions were taken to minimize the possibility of cross-contamination. We enjoyed a worry-free meal in a restaurant, which isn't always the case even when a restaurant advertises that it is gluten- or allergy-friendly. Seasonings Bistro truly went above and beyond, far exceeding my already high expectations. Before we left, Troy and Katie stopped by to chat; so nice to meet them and have the opportunity to praise the staff and the entire experience. Such a lovely crew! It will be a sad day when they move to Marion, but until then, visit them on the Public Square!

Last night was my first visit to Seasoning Bistro and I will definitely be coming back. The service was professional and friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable-loved the music piping in and the food was phenomenal! I took a chance and ate something I had never had before-the Chilean Sea Bass was prepared and plated in a manner that I could not help but savor. The Butterfinger Bomb which was recommended by our server was just what our palates were seeking for dessert and it did not disappoint. I cannot wait for my next visit.

Always an absolute delight eating here. The food and service is impeccable. A lot of things to recommend here, but the ribeye is a must, as is the house made bread and butter appetizer.

Now this is one of those restaurants you go for the first time and before you leave you are deciding which appetizers and dishes you will be ordering on your next visit. The appetizers and entre's were beautifuly arranged and garnished like a piece of artwork. Every bite activated my palat with precision and rich flavors. The meatballs were very delicious, but I would like to try the crab cakes next time. The Buffalo Cauliflower was dynamite! I would order that every visit. My wife had the Strawberry Praline salad with blackened chicken. Best salad I've ever had, I could literally eat that salad daily. I had the Seabass, and it was an excellent dish!
The atmosphere was really enjoyable as well. Featuring Southern Illinois' most notorious Birger gang.

Always amazing food and great waitstaff. I hope they never leave Benton! It's wonderful that they allow call-ahead orders for dine-in. If you're from out of town, it's worth a visit to Benton to drop in to Seasoning Bistro for a meal.

We loved the atmosphere here. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The specialty cocktails were awesome and the food was excellent. This is by far one of the best dinners we've had in southern Illinois! It was well worth the 1 hour drive!! I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation though.

Our family loves Seasoning Bistro! Lovely for dinning in and a excellent for large groups, also great as a carry out option as well. Food is made from scratch and they support local farms for their produce. Can't go wrong with this choice for your lunch or dinner.

Cute little town. We stopped here on our way from St. Louis to Nashville. We have never been disappointed in the food. So far my wife and I have had the crab cakes, smash burger with black garlic aioli and the blackened chicken sandwich. Every meal was FIRE! Keep up the good work Seasoning Bistro and we will see you next year.

We stumbled on this gem while on the road, we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was impeccable! We were full but couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the dessert. I highly recommend giving The Seasonings Bistro a try!!

Great service and fantastic food! One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The only thing I disliked about the restaurant was that they don’t give you very many napkins.

The food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress gave us a little history run down about the place too, pretty cool. I highly recommend this place if you want great tasting food !

The service was excellent! The food was exceptional! The balsamic roasted Brussels sprouts were amazing! Great atmosphere and comfortable seating! I highly recommend this place!!

All the had was delicious, but our 12oz Ribeyes were outstanding! Our steaks were perfectly cooked, medium, and seared with several delightfully crisp areas. Every bite was tender and flavorful with exceptional seasoning. The staff was friendly and courteous and had excellent, quick, service. Thank you Seasoning Bistro, we'll be back!

It is one of my favorites. Thursday is Charlie Birger Burger day. A variety of burger options are offered and all are good. Charlie Burger was a bootlegger who was hanged for murder about 2 blocks from the restaurant. He was the last person in the state to be executed by hanging.
