Top of the Line Electric

I recently moved to the Martinsburg - Inwood area from out of state and purchased a 1980's property. The inspection recommended having an electrical system review. I called Top of The Line Electric (TTLE) and they were quick to respond and adjust to my schedule. The bid that was provided was very reasonable considering the experience and quality this team provides.

I had 2 service panels removed/upgraded along with other work. TTLE discovered a multitude of severe hazards (fire) from previous owners lack of skill and upkeep.

It's difficult to capture how excellent of a job they did and the feeling of not needing to worry about my home catching fire from poor electrical work. I'm already planning to hire Ben and his team for future projects (renovations).

Summary - very professional, meticulous, trustworthy, high quality, and willingness to teach if you have questions or concerns.

So glad I was referred to Top of the Line Electric for my commercial building. Ben worked on a couple different projects for me. When I think of attributes to describe this business, four stand out: Professional, Customer Focused, Responsive, Competent. Great quality of work by a very professional and competent staff. They were also very responsive during a time we had an electrical crisis situation, that could have taken several days to resolve; they had us back to normal operations within one day.

When the electric company comes out and knows your electrician well I think it’s safe to say you made the right choice in contractors. Got my estimate to me right away and turn around time was fast. Glad we chose to use them to upgrade our service since they definitely were experienced with the project.

Thought I would look at some of the other reviews and great experiences other customers have had with your company then I read the ONLY one star review.
I find that very insulting to give a negative review for not wearing a mask!!!
This person should have informed you when making the appointment that they have a mask requirement not waiting until the day of the appointment.
That's their problem!!!
People want someone to get the job done like your company does not if you got a mask on.

I asked for a transfer switch to run my generator through our house panel when terrible weather knocks out the juice. They came, they put it in for a good price and even found the mismarked oil furnace breaker for me so I'd know what to do if we get a bad ice storm. Now I don't have to worry about worsening weather events having us freezing (and breaking pipes) if we lose electricity. These guys are good!

Top of the line Electric’s name is certainly fitting. From the estimate to booking the appointment and the actual installation of my outlet, Top of the Line Electric was wonderful. They are very professional, responsive, timely and reasonably priced. They made the process stress free and the outlet looked great. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work and would absolutely use them again. Thanks again guys!

Upgraded our panel box about 3 weeks ago, then yesterday a contractor was laying new flooring and cut some wires "hot water heater, ceiling fans.."top of the line came out first thing in the morning and replaced and corrected everything! Couldn't ask for a better price! Thank you again for the fast response.

They installed 3 outlets at my house 3 months ago and did a pretty good job. They came back again to fix the outdoor outlet for my fish pond that the trampoline flew into from the wind. Within the next year, planning to build my office in basement and possibly finish the whole basement. Would be an easy decision to call them to do the electrical for that. Nice people and they do good work. Also, as a software engineer, I like their responsiveness to service requests through google. Far better to communicate this way, in my millennial opinion, than through telephone via 8-4 Mon-Fri service hours.

Update Aug 2022:
They came back again to install outdoor generator plug and connect it to the electrical panel in my house. They did a good job yet again. A shame that someone else here gave a 1 star for not wearing a mask, which could be true, but with the heat lately I wouldn’t wear a mask while doing manual work and you can’t keep everyone happy.

Ben and his crew from Top of the Line have been a welcome addition to our home. We recently moved to WV and had to find people and companies to help with our house. It has been a difficult process, but we are grateful to have found Top of the Line. Extremely professional with prompt communication. Work is done without delay and rates are excellent. Company does what is needed and does not try to pad their bill. Very trustworthy and we will continue to use them in the future.

We are happy to recommend these guys to anyone! We had a problem with a couple of our outlets not working in our kitchen so we called, and Ben came out and he found the problem quickly, which was actually originating from a different outlet than the one we thought was the problem. He was very knowledgeable and great at communicating what he was doing and what needed to be done. He had it fixed that day and the price was definitely fair and reasonable!

Drew from Top of the Line Electric was awesome! He was early and called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable and did a fantastic job rewiring some outlets for me and fixing some faulty wiring with some other switches. I highly recommend!!

Just moved to Martinsburg and wanted 3 fans installed. Called several contractors, Top of the Line Electric answered right away. They had a cancellation and came to my home early the next day. They needed a part, called the office and someone brought it out within a 1/2 hour.They completed the job, cleaned up after themselves and couldn't have been any nicer. Both young men talked to me while they worked. Thank you for helping me out.

Absolutely amazing people, one of the few electricians in the area that returned my call. They were courteous and punctual, their work is solid (no damage to the surrounding area) and was quick. Absolutely could not be happier with their prices and work. Certainly an excellent choice for anyone in the area.

I needed ground-level lighting for a 200+ foot driveway. I had some non--standard needs; Ben had great advice. We worked collegially to come up with the right design and right fixtures. He then did a great job trenching and installing power lto the lights. Impressive, prompt, easy to work with.

Even though we discovered our electric was just fine, Dave was there for any questions we had and he even gave us suggestions for what we were experiencing. Will use again in the future!

Had a great experience with Top of the Line! He actually answered the phone (unlike a number of others I had tried to reach), was on time and did the job quickly and well. He even pointed out a couple of potential issues with the lights I had picked for him to swap out. All-in-all, great experience!
