Columbus Marriott

First things first as soon as you enter the hotel lobby I recognized it was very clean. Went straight to the front desk to check in no issues everybody was very respectful and professional. Went up to our rooms soon as you walk in the room was very clean. The next day we asked the housekeeper Courtney to see if we can get some fresh towels and linen very respectful and professional and she took care of us. There was no microwave in our room to warm up our leftover food that we had from that day and they were able to help us downstairs at the front desk. All in all I would recommend to anybody who's coming to Columbus Georgia to make reservations and plan on staying at Columbus Georgia Marriott.

We held our wedding at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center on April 6th, 2024. We used the Columbus Marriott as our guest hotel, and we could not have been happier with that decision.

We worked with Jill Normand, and she was helpful with drafting a proposal and finding us a good group rate.

The staff were exceptional, they took time one weekend to give us a personal tour so that we could view the rooms we selected and provided an overview of the amenities that would be available to our guests. Often when we called just to check in on how many rooms had been reserved, they were always friendly in providing updates.

Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Many commented on the design of the hotel, the cleanliness, the hospitality of the staff, the breakfast (for those that ate), and of course, the convenience in proximity to the wedding and the riverwalk.

I remember when this hotel was being built in the early 80s. Staying here as a resident was great experience during a tough time. From Shay's warm welcome to the desk manager Cassandra seeing me off at checkout, I felt like ROYALTY. I'll be back.:)

This hotel is a 10 out of 10 for my wife and I. The Staff was beyond exceptional. Especially my hostess whose hometown is Hattiesburg, MS. Giving you a Shout-Out. The in-house restaurant was great also. The rooms were great and the location was good also. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to this city. We’ll be back next month. Until then, keep up the good work and we’ll see you all soon. 🙏🏻

Stopped in Columbus unexpectedly with my wife and child. It was very late and we were exhausted from multiple flights and several hours of driving. Brianna and Brenda took such great care of us and got us a room and checked in faster than I expected. Thank you ladies, you made my family feel welcomed and cared for!

One of the best Marriott’s I’ve even stayed at. It’s in an old grist mill and they have made the old factor a charming place to relax and stay. Also, it’s in a great location for anyone needing to be in uptown Columbus! 10/10!

We stay at this Marriott every time we come to Columbus. Location is perfect and convenient to places/offices we need access to. Well-appointed, quiet guest rooms. We enjoy utilizing the comfortable, well-stocked M Room (where the service is outstanding), and we appreciate the convenient Houlihan's restaurant inside this Marriott, too. Delicious breakfast buffet and great lunch/dinner menu options, as well.

I would like to thank Mrs. Easterling, the daytime front desk supervisor. Mrs. Easterling is exceptional and goes well above and beyond to satisfy the needs of her customers. Mrs. Easterling provided PHENOMENAL service to me and I observed her giving the exact same service to other patrons as well. This location had higher rates than the other Marriott locations in the area but I will DEFINITELY absorb the cost as long as Mrs. Easterling continues to work at this location. I am affiliated with a very large network that books quite a few rooms in Columbus once a month and Mrs. Easterling has moved the Columbus Marriott to the top spot!!

The front desk staff, bellman, M Lounge crew and housekeepers were wonderful. They were friendly, helpful had a great attitude. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the grounds are well taken care of.

Lovely property on the south end of the Columbus river walk district located in a renovated grist mill. M Club on site along with Houlahans Restaurant. Plenty of free on-site parking. Spacious rooms.

During my stay I had a significant problem that Fatema at the front desk was able to help with, she was a lifesaver!

Today is 11-3-23 6:57am. The cook just mde a great breakfast sandwich. The fried dice potatoes were delicious. "Thank-you!"

I visited Columbus Marriott not to stay but to apply for employment. I have to say during this visit, every employee I encountered or observed was very pleasant, friendly and professional. The customer relations I observed were very respectful and quick to offer assistance. The hotel was quiet, peaceful, immaculent and beautifully maintained, offering great amenities including valet svc, an in-house restaurant and lounge and plenty of parking. I was more than impressed and feel if you want the experience of royal treatment this would be the place to be!

We stayed three days here for the GOP convention. This hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in for Marriot.
The breakfast buffet is fabulous. Everybody is so nice I cannot fault anything and I’m very picky Highly recommend it was an old mill . Has
been converted and it is so pretty.

The best Marriott property I've stayed at in a long while. Awesome staff across the board. Best breakfast (close to like home cooked meal). Great variety and ambiance to top it all off. Love the M lounge. Across the street from the convention center, River Walk trails and University district but still a peaceful setting. Historical district is evident throughout and the hotel incorporates that history very naturally while keeping a very modern feel. I already stated it but it's worth repeating. The staff across the board felt like family (the good kind) and were professional, caring, and accommodating. Stayed an extra night because we appreciated the staff.

Beautiful property super convenient to Convention Center, we stayed on the Mill side and loved our corner room. Staff in the M club we're all so delightful! Location is convenient to everything uptown! Railroad track runs in front of hotel property, we only noticed one train a night, it wasn't an issue for us! This is our favorite Marriott property to stay at in Columbus! 💕

Loved that old building that goes back in time!!! Beautifully elegant. So glad to see a company maintain a historic part of the community. Too many just tear buildings down, especially brick. Loved our room, location, and visit.

Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.

The staff was so tentative at breakfast, and the hotel so clean! The wonderful ladies at breakfast made sure we were well taken care of.

CONS; I arrived late, I wasn't aware of the train that goes by. I was awaken around 2AM by the horrible sound. I would recommend they provide the earplugs at the desk when you check in, or have huge warning signs. I drove for 8 hours and was so ready for a peaceful rest, it wasn't peaceful and scared the mess out of me!
Hotel walls are very thin, and you can hear everything through the wall and hallways.

I absolutely love this hotel! The character of the old grit mill is seen throughout the hotel and its an extra flare to the theme of the hotel. The hotel staff of Cassandra and Ketema were simply Amazing! They made my stay a wonderful experience.
