Beautiful campgrounds run by wonderful people ! The couple that run this really make sure you have everything you need and it’s so pretty out here. The peaceful creek has access and it’s such a fun place to go explore. The campsites are wonderful and there was live music at the barn.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be coming back every chance we can!!

Extremely nice place that has camp grounds that butt up next to the river. It has all the amenities you need, Water and electric hookups are in good working order. I went out there when using my camper for the first time and called them beforehand explaining that this was the first time I was using my camper, Nelson was super accommodating ensuring I was in a spot that was easy to get my camper into, as well as in a spot that was really nice. I would easily go back.

It’s so beautiful here. We’re parked along the creek under a nice canopy. There’s a little dog park that our dogs love. The owners, Nelson and Mariah, are so accommodating. We couldn’t be happier with this choice! There are two toilets and two showers. Nice level sites with electric and water. Everything is clean and there’s a nice fuzzy rug to step on outside of the shower. Nelson has delivered our firewood and been very responsive. Will definitely return!

What a beautiful property. Thank you very much for having us. Very clean and manicured property and Nelson is very helpful and communicative. The bathroom is great and the water is hot if you like hot water. We would love to visit again. Thank you again Lazy A for the stay.

Owners are super nice. Large sites with plenty of shade. Creek runs right next to the campground where kids can splash around, wading or fishing. They have a playground for the kids and a large open field for additional activities as well as a dog park to let your pets run. Very relaxing and tranquil. Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed our stay.

Such a surprise. We missed out on a first come first serve so we went here last minute. The place has a great open energy, clean, and peaceful. Amenities were perfect and above standard for what we needed. We aren't campers, we are just transporting a camper for a friend. If this were a regular thing for us I would definitely use this camping area again! Thank you!

Family friendly, large shaded lots, bath house, dog run, creek access for wading, fishing, kayak, floating. Playground with sandbox, basketball hoop. Great people, great service, fair price! Will definitely return!

Clean, well-maintained, & friendly helpful staff. Definitely has that pleasant, comfortable, small town, family-owned feel- you feel well taken care of & looked out for there, & the staff treats you in a friendly family manner. We live just 35 min away & after purchasing a new RV chose this campground for our local 'shakedown trip', aka 'get familiar & work out any kinks' maiden voyage RV trip. Mariah was kind enough to call a day in advance to make sure we were all set, to let us know she would be out of town, & give us the name & contact info for Tracy as the host in her absence. Tracy & Logan came by on a golf cart shortly after we arrived to see if we needed anything. Tracy also responded quickly via text when we called with a question a little later, he was very nice & helpful. As people who have always preferred very private primitive campsites away from people, we were a little nervous with it being such a large pretty crowded campground w/ close campsites that it might be noisy or of having obnoxious neighbors, but we found that everyone was very respectful & quiet, & there are also 'quiet hours' that are respected. Used the restroom during our RV setup & breakdown & they are very clean, stocked, & well maintained. When we were utilizing the dump station upon leaving, Tracy again kindly came over to see if we needed any assistance. We had a very pleasant stay & even though we live so close, it felt like a little respite to just get out of the normal routine & we plan on returning sometimes just for little mini trips in between our bigger camping trips!

Wonderful stay at Lazy A! HUGE campsite in rustic, farm setting. We were in a pull through site beside the barn. While there, our propane tank regulator failed. We called for a suggestion where to get another one… and the owner literally showed up in minutes with one for us! He helped my husband put the new one on too. These are GOOD people! Highly recommend!

Mariah and Nelson have built a wonderful community of campers and truly care about the campground and the people that come to stay. They know everyone by name even if it's their first time staying. Don't come here expecting the best amenities because that's not what you are paying for. The lots are well spaced, shaded, and there a variety of types of sites. The electricity is stable, the water is clean, and the dump station is easy to get to. What you can't put a price tag on is the chance to sit in cool creek water, take a quick float, or swim. Most importantly, you'll be treated like family and if you are lucky, see a beautiful sunset that you will remember for years come drawing you back.

The property is beautiful, very well kept and clean. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and the owner, Nelson, put on the best fireworks display I have ever seen. Nelson came around several times to see if we needed anything, and responds to texts and phone calls very quickly. There is a creek that runs behind the campground where we sat and enjoyed the weekend while our son fished. I highly recommend the Lazy A. We have already made arrangements for next year.

Superb campground! Very clean and well maintained. Very welcoming to dogs (has a fenced dog park). Had access to the water behind the campsites (fun for kids to explore). The host was extremely accommodating. The road made it easy to maneuver for our 38ft motorhome, while towing a truck. Would highly recommend this campground.

Lazy A is amazing! So peaceful and the owners are so welcoming! We had such a wonderful 2 days here. There is a nice playground for the kids and, they are adding on to it as I write this. Our kids were always entertained and happy. The creek access is very very nice and the other campers are friendly as well. We will definitely be returning and making this our regular camping spot! Thank you so much to the owners!

Great place to camp! The creek is fun and gets up to about 6 feet depending on where you stand, the rope swing is also a great addition. The showers were clean and bathrooms well kept. The owners sell firewood and ice, so you never have to worry about driving far. All in all I definitely enjoyed my stay!

What a wonderful experience my niece and I had here over the holiday weekend! The family who owns the campground was so friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean, and our tent campsite was really nice. There was even a live band one day! I will definitely be back. Thank you for providing a family-friendly place to make memories so close to home.☺

Nice creek to play in. They have full sun, partial sun and shade sites. They have nice glass backboard basketball goal and sturdy play ground. They have a cool barn.

A great place to camp and spend some time. Met new friends, level lots, and a great water spot. In the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Owners stoped by to see how we were doing everyday. They have internet, and lots were larger than normal. Loved this detail felt more elbow room and more private. Will definitely be back.

The campground is easy to find, accessible to quick convenience trips or local fun at the orchards or hiking trails. The grounds were well maintained and easy to walk. Access to the creek in several spots. The shower room was incredibly nice!!
But above all that, the customer service was the extra mile. The owners are at the campground throughout the day and check in with you multiple times as they are out and about delivering wood or what not. They even helped us get some Old Bay when the grocery store was out!
The grounds are perfect for parties, events, or reunions that want a laid back, back home, everyone is your neighbor kind of casual feel. We even got in some outdoor yoga!
