Over the years I have needed to utilize The Rose House, much like I would an out of town friends couch or a visit to a close friends grandmother when said friend cannot visit her personally. This is exactly the feeling Rose House inspires in you, time after time . I usually spend days starting with their OldSchoolMadeFromScratch breakfast. The lady who takes care of this is very mature in her cooking style, allowing guest's generous self portioning. Every morning provides sausage gravy, cat head biscuits, eggs, grits, bacon, and a variety of baked goods - marble cake, coffee cake, and my personal favorite banana nut bread. Milk, juice, coffee, cokes, water you can finish on the wraparound porch. Or the veranda swing. Evenings I usually spend on the small house porch where you count on conversation and comraderie with a funky character or two who may also be staying with Rose House. Just as often as not, however, it seems that I've had the whole place to myself. With rooms to spare containing old fashioned handmade quilts and antique nick knacks as timeless decor... you better believe Professor Pilfer here has cataloged every interesting inch of Rose House and the management has never made me feel the lesser for it. When Brittany Shaved her head. When Chapelle went missing back to the MotherLand. When Tom Cruise was jumping on Oprah's nice couch... It has to be something like the Rose House Inn that brought them back to themselves- such is the profound healing quality found here . It really does cost more to do less.

Nice Place! Quiet and Quaint. I would recommend the stay. I arrived late, found my key and got to my room on my own. Clean room and a nice quiet sleep. I would call it an Inn more than a B&B. It does not have a large dining room and family style dining like you see in a lot of the New England B&Bs. So food is NOT on the agenda here. Breakfast is serve yourself coffee with prepackaged granola bars etc., similar to your budget hotels. But the house and the town are quaint and it’s a great place to stay as I was passing by on a long trip.

Such a lovely, quaint place to stay! We spent 4 restful nights in the two story cottage behind the main house. It has 4 bedrooms for guests and a shared kitchen. A big breakfast is served each morning in Rose House, which also has several bedrooms for guests. Loved the beautiful antiques in both houses!

We stayed in the two room suite upstairs with our three girls. Our stay was great! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the breakfast was delicious. The innkeeper was very polite and even gave us a little tour and some history of the place. I enjoyed hearing some of the history. I definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a nice and quiet place to rest in the area.

Beautiful and dreamlike. It was a pleasurable and quiet stay for me. I spent my first night at The Hampton in Jasper and this place is hands down the better option, if you can get a night booked. (rates vary).

There are great places to eat a walk away and the weather and the gorgeous Alabama scenery is the best in this little hideaway.

I enjoyed the selection of breakfast options. The room had full cable and there was great wifi.

For those working from home with a mobile device, you should try this as wonderful option or at least just for some time away. You won't regret it.

I also wanted to add the best ribs in Alabama are in this town. So best place to stay, best BBQ...a win-win!

We have been staying in the jacuzzi suite for our anniversary in November this will be our 3 year in a row I think at least 2. Miss the big breakfast but they always make sure there is eggs, bread, milk, juice and cereal in the cute little kitchen. Maybe we can get bacon this year

The location was convenient as our marriage was happening nearby and we wanted to celebrate. We found the neutral colored bedroom clean and well furnished. The bed spread was particularly posh. The mattress was perfect evertrying including all our activities and for sleeping upon as my back can sometimes act up if slept on incorrectly... We also found the bathroom clean and accommodating. The whirlpool bath worked splendidly. The slew of candles and rose petals we discovered in one of the drawers allowed us to set the appropriate mood for the night's festivities. The communal kitchen just outside the door leading into our room provided us with ice to keep our wine cold in our room. The service was just what you'd expect from professionals who have been doing this for years and years day in and day out. Perfection. 10/10. Would definately stay there again.

Great price.... this is the kind of place you'd expect to pay double the price...
It's a state and National historical land mark...

The rooms have period furniture.
Very cozy to say the least. Very quiet.

You'd think you was in civil war era... except for modern conveniences
Beds are very comfortable.

Staff are super friendly.

I would say come visit it yourself.

God bless this place

So cute. Love the name.
Very nice rooms. Only this I disliked was the temp can't be set for each room and was a little warm for me sleeping.

Great place to stay! Rush Videos was hired to film a wedding in Fayette recently and stayed overnight at the Rose House Inn. It was conveniently located, very clean, and the breakfast was superb. We will definitely stay here next time we're in the area.

This is a very nice bed and breakfast off the beaten path but well worth the diversion. Very reason rates and in a very cool small town.
