En Lai Restaurant

I grew up eating Gum Wah down the street … however En Lai is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurant to date! Food is always hot. The vegetables are always fresh. They have an awesome lunch special. The prices are equal to what you are getting in return and we believe they have fair prices. Today we had their general tso chicken, which is on the lunch special so it comes with rice (fried or white your choice) a can of soda and vegetable roll! The chicken is cooked to the perfect crisp, sauce on point. We also had the kung pao chicken. The sauce is spicier but too spicy. The chicken is not battered but cut thinly and is so soft and juicy. Mixing the left over sauce and vegetables which all the extra rice I have left was awesome. Super quiet insides but that how we like it :) sorry no food left to show it was too good

My first time here and my food was really good I never had lo Mein noodles from a local Chinese this good food was fresh and orange was good very good crunch and enough sauce I also got a strawberry smoothie that was also good

Ive been going to en lai for the past 15 years. The food is always really good and fresh. The delivery is fast. One time the delivery guy was at my place within 13 minutes and the food was great, not just slopped together. I do carry out or delivery depending on the situation. Definitely recommend!

The food here is great and the owners are nice. I am a regular customer and I have been satisfied most of my visits with the quality of the food here. The price of the food is also reasonable and it will not break the bank to feed a family.

En Lai is a Great Restaurant. They make You feel Welcome. The Service is Fantastic. And most of all they get Your Order right and the Food is really Good. I wish a lot of places did as Good a job as they do.

Everyone that I’ve come in contact at this place is so friendly. Fast service. And the food is great! Not too greasy like most places.

Great offerings and look spot on, will be back when in the area! Try their surf n turf lo mein (dinner special shrimp lo mein with additional beef, or half and half) and let it melt your tastebuds away 🤤

Best crab Rangoon I've had in a decade.

I’ve been coming here for at least the past 10 years and I have never been disappointed. I feel like the people of Oak Forest are so spoiled to have this good of a Chinese restaurant in town.

This was sooooo good—we ordered delivery and each dish had tons of perfectly cooked veggies, and everything felt fresh and homemade! Our new go-to :)

We have been ordering En Lai for almost 20 years, the food is always excellent, delivered on time or early. The portions are large - enough for 1 extra meal for each order for us. The prices are competitive. Have occasionally ordered from other restaurants, but are always disappointed. Have never been disappointed from this En Lai restaurant! Great food!

I always love this place. Every time we get carryout it's always 15 minutes and great fresh made food. I wish they had almond chicken like in Detroit area. But guess only in Detroit can you get that style of almond chicken! Keep up the great work.

This place is great. Food is tasty and priced right. Hearty portions of food and good selection. It has a decent little self serve dining area with tables and chairs. Delivery is fast!! It may not be fine dining but it has been good every time I've been here for 10+ years.

Best egg shrimp foo young I ever had. I also love is that it comes separate from the gravy.

I have been coming here for over 20 years now. The food has always been absolutely delicious here & the staff are always friendly & accommodating! I spoiled my best friend as her favorite food chain is Panda Express, but now she'd rather have En Lai!

Went there with my family after Church and our trip to the new Aldi's in Crestwood. Nice little seating area and great luncheon specials. We like things extra spice and they hit it on the mark. Perfect with entree, fried rice( which they also make spice if you ask), an egg roll, and a can of pop. Perfect for lunch, and by the way... DELICIOUS...

We absolutely love this place. The food is great and delivery is quick. The delivery man is also so nice. We have never had an issue with our order.
