Canton Inn

This place is a real gem. The atmosphere doesn't really befit a fine dining establishment but that's what it is. The service is absolutely top notch.

The salad was fresh, the lamb fries were tasty though perhaps needed a bit more seasoning. Absolutely loved the stuffed muffin caps.

The entrees had some issues, unfortunately. Ordered a medium steak and it came out rare. Sent it back for a re-fire and it was still rare. The bacon wrapped stuffed chicken was good but perhaps needed a bit more zip.

Portion size is great for what you pay.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. We will be back.

The food was really good both me and my wife got meals including the jack Daniels sauce.

Our waitress and staff did a great job. Group of 9 celebrating a birthday. We had a variety of foods. Everything was good. My alcoholic drink was weak. Desserts we tasted were great! Was not a cool area to sit in. Overall a great eating experience!

We were looking for a great steak and found it! Everything we tried was delicious! Our waitress was amazing and very helpful in suggestions. We definitely will be coming back during my time here.

I was there New Years Eve. Had a great meal and service was wonderful!!

530 pm on a Saturday, maybe a 20-30 minute wait for a table.
First time there.
The extent and diversity of the menu was surprising for its location in rural central Illinois.
Server was very pleasant.
Every food item my wife and I had was delicious. Food came at a nice pace. Not rushed, but we also weren't sitting around waiting on the next course.

Will definitely return.

Great duo was playing in the bar- The Chapman Brothers- and the wait staff was great

This was our first time at this restaurant. It was recommended to us and it was wonderful. The waitress was extremely attentive to our group of six! Food was beyond our expectations. The onion rings and mushroom appetizers were our favorites! Great prime rib, pork chops. and steak. We will definitely come back. It was worth our hour drive!!!

Our kids had my 70th and 71st birthdays there and there were about 27 people there and they accounted us wonderfully. The waitresses are all wonderful and they kept us informed of any delay of anything. The owner cam to our tables to say hello and to see how we were doing and to see if we needed anything at all. We go there allot with our family. Their food is absolutely delicious!!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening on her birthday, February 1, and had top quality steaks, service and the entire meal was tremendous!!!
So much so, we made reservations for Valentine's day. They met and even exceeded our hopes and expectations!! We have heard the Canton Inn is the best Steakhouse in the region and attest to that fact! Awesome service, sides, desserts and Steaks!!!

Excellent food, great service. Never been disappointed here! Not cheap, but worth every cent.

Last night was my first time at Canton Inn. We were on our way home from a funeral and it was almost 8:00 PM. Many restaurants in the area were closed and we read about this one.
Wow! Glad we did. The food was great, the portions were big and the price was right. How do you beat that combination?
The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was ok. We sat in the bar area as the main dining room was closed. It was a bit noisy for our taste, but no one else seemed to mind the loud music. Perhaps we were just tired after a
long say.
We did not look at the dessert tray, but suspect the deserts would have been as good as the food.

We had a group of 25 for a 7pm reservation, and the waitress worked so hard to take excellent care of us! The crab cakes were the best I have ever had!

This is the best restaurant in the surrounding 3 counties. The cooks in the back are more than talented, and they offer the widest variety of drinks. The bartenders are talented and know how to make drinks that I've never even heard of! The owner, Linda, is there every night to make sure her customers are satisfied, she strives on customer service. You will not be disappointed if find your way to the Canton Inn!

Had a large group for mother's day for supper. We were seated quicky for our reservation time, orders taken quickly, and had no issues with our orders. Waitress was fantastic and handled or group great!

Great food , great drinks , excellent value

The food is absolutely superb. Atmosphere is casual but elegant. A great place for a very good and relaxing meal.

Steak & shrimp were delicious! Ate at the bar, & the bartenders were very attentive. The jazzy blues band from StL was excellent!

My husband and I ate here on Valentine's Day. He ordered a steak and was very pleased with the quality and cooking level. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccini. It was excellent! The serving was large enough to take some home. The leftovers were just as good as the original meal!

Nice place with a great bar and great steaks!
