American Airlines Flagship Lounge

Nice selection oft craft beers. Did not try the food, looked delicious though.
Lots of seats, nice view to the gates, a lot going on.
Staff was friendly, nice experience!

My first time in a Flagship lounge heading to Lisbon. Very nice. Not as crowed as the Admirals lounge and the food was really good. Serve yourself bar was really great . I love to plane spot did it all day long.

This lounge really has a premium feel to it! Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered a glass of champagne, which was a nice touch. The lounge was spacious and well lite with natural light. Additionally, it was quiet and relaxing and not busy. The food selection was varied and really nice, from relatively fresh sushi, oysters, salad and cheese bar, to warmer items like gratin and goujons. One of the best lounges we've been to thus far.

Lounge was absolutely amazing. Received access by purchasing business class from Ohare to Madrid on Iberia which is a partner with American. Welcomed with champagne. Buffet was excellent. Sushi, best green beans almondine that I ever had, mashed sweet potatoes, made to order mushroom Bolognese, full self serve bar with excellent choices (I’m not a drinker) also iced tea, soda. Is it worth $150? Probably not…but if the price of an upgrade is reasonable this is a huge benefit to be had.

Sheesh. As a lower-middle class American, I don’t belong here. But I like it. This place is the equivalent of the sound of champagne bottles popping. Actually, that was the sound I heard most often during my afternoon here. The food was ridiculous. Sushi and shrimp fra diavolo and open bars and chefs making brisket sliders. The company was pretentiously hushed. The view of planes loading and unloading was perfectly fitting for the globe-galavanting lifestyles that some of these people grumpily enjoy. The service was great. I tipped a guy and he acted like no one ever does that. It’s difficult as a working class guy to not notice those working class individuals quietly and efficiently serving you. Felt too low class to stop and take photos of everything. I was trying to blend in. These are the sloppy incognito photos I tried to take shooting from the hip.

Phenomenal, sumptuous, luxurious, plentiful, spacious, restful. The food is the astoundingly fresh and inspired, served piping hot or properly chilled as appropriate. Abundant selection and variety of flavors, textures, desserts, and drinks, Great service, clean, top rate. And great views of the airport and Chicago. I hope to return soon.

American Airlines did a real good job with their flagship lounges in Chicago terminal 3, this lounge is perfect to relax, even for a longer time before your flight. It never feels crowded due to its size, with many rooms to choose from. Tasty fresh food, a big choice of soft drinks, a variety of top shelf spirits and delicious desserts are available. Clean and nice toilets, and big sized showers are embedded within the lounge. Overall a very good lounge, and definitely worth visiting.

Very suprised. Lounge is great... Good selection of drinks, wines and spirits.
Came at 5pm and the lounge was busy but 4 of us could find comfortable seating easily.
Was so pleased they had some session ipa's which will make my flight just that little more smooth.
Normally wouldn't recommend a American lounge but this is a great one if you need to kill time!

Finally, the Level of Service and quality you can find at other international businesses lounges like the Sala Velázquez in Madrid/Barajas. This new Flagship Lounge opened last month and is truly pleasant. There’s a very tasty hot buffet and a cold buffet with just enough variety to interest any palate. A wine buffet with quite good wines, and a coffee and dessert buffet. Quiet interior tables and tables near the full length windows offering great views.
I was tired of the overcrowded and understaffed Admiral’s Lounge so this Flagship Lounge is a welcome haven for international business travelers.

Nice play to wait for the next flight. If your a frequent traveler then a club is for you. 2 bars (pay for drinks), coffee and soft drinks are free. Lots of finger foods - excellent. Nice views of Chicago in the background. Quiet area, showers, conference rooms, business center and printing.

I felt like I died and went to heaven. I love the Flagship lounge. I wish I could access it every time I fly instead of only when I have an international business class seat booked.

Incredible Lounge catering to First and Platinum status customers. This lounge is so very well appointed. With an excellent food selectiin and very well stocked bar and amble and most importantly comfortable seating. There are plenty of work spaces with power outkets and a quiet zone for those who need to relax pre flight. It's easy to see why this is American's Flagship Lounge. Well done and Enjoy !

Great place here in ORD.
Great staff, refreshments and good food.
Was able to catch a shower as well from our overnight flight.
With a 6 hour layover, this was the absolute best place to be.

A large lounge separated into many functional seating areas. Great selection of food including sushi. Spa water on tap. Good for medium groups as you can probably find a fairly private area to sit and chat, read a paper or watch TV. Free WiFi.

If you have the credentials to get in, this Flagship location is top of the line.

Not too crowded, food and beverage selections were outstanding. Local Craft Beer and full self service bar to create your own adult beverages.

One of the best lounges I've been in. The flagship lounge is invite-only so you need a certain level status to get in otherwise you will be sent to their other lounge. To enter, you will need a flagship lounge invitation card given at the reception.

The lounge itself is very spacey and clean. There is a dedicated customer service spot for you to sort out any problems with your flights. I slipped the day before and needed the aisle seat to stretch my leg but due to the ticket type I bought, they were unable to change me into another seat even though there was a lot of space on the plane. In order to change, I would need to pay like any other passenger so no special treatment here.

Overall it is a great lounge, they even have sushi and truffle chips! The only two things I need to make my experience great.

Tons of room, great buffet. Open bar etc. if you are afforded access it's a great lounge

Excellent lounge with superb food and good selection of drinks. Not too busy and everything very clean including bathrooms.

The flagship Lounge at O'Hare Airport is certainly one of the best. It does not have the flagship dining that a few of the other lounges have around the country, but the food selection is none the less amazing, and the drinks menu superb. As others have commented, there are ample power outlets, excellent views of the runways, and a huge amount of seating so that even at busy times it is easy to find a seat for the whole family. And underutilized service is the shower, which are absolutely lovely.
