Swissport Lounge chicago

This place is awesome when empty. Plenty of beer, snacks, some liquor. Open bar, as in make your own drinks and help yourself to the fridge. Staff is super chill, not pretentious like other lounges. Remember folks the keywords are when empty.

I was was going to leave a review this morning and I’m glad I decided to finally do so. I arrived there earlier with my son. He and I fly out of ohare often. The treatment these workers endured today was unacceptable! I witnessed passengers being rude and unkind as I stood in line. There was a young lady at the counter and I could tell she was praying I didn’t bad mouth her like everyone else did before me(bless her heart). The employee, China, kindly explained to me that the lounge is small, shared and full to capacity. That I would not have been able to get in unfortunately before my flight. So you know what I did? I said thank you to her and WENT ABOUT MY DAY. My heart breaks reading these reviews of people being upset with this business and their workers. They are trying their best and shouldn’t be talked down upon for things they cannot control. Here’s a piece of advice for anyone traveling: Do your research on lounges before you enter the airport! Third party lounges are not required to assist everyone! My husband works at a third party lounge so this really hits home. A little kindness goes a long way!

First time visiting the Swiss lounge. Was great to relax and have a light lunch while waiting for my flight to Vienna. It's worth the extra expense.

Small, but it’s a lounge and provides a spot to relax before a flight. Priority Pass is likely to be cut off due to the size. Edited May 2024. Closed to priority pass at 3pm which doesn’t make sense when international flights go in the evening. It’s the only lounge in Chicago.

Food- basically nothing. Service- hilarious. Atmosphere- like my childhood basement.
Free booze- 5 stars.
As far as lounges go, it’s a must visit! Like someone saying “oh my gad, it’s so gross, you have to try it!”.

Johanna was so helpful! It was my first time in the Swissport lounge and using my priority pass and she helped me out so much. She answered all my questions. Definitely made it an enjoyable experience for me.

The people here are super nice and helpful. The lounge itself is going under a remodel. It’s great to grab a couple drinks and snacks before your flight!

It's definitely a very small but very nice business lounge. We spent there 3 hours and sometimes it was getting really crowded. Suprisingly it was quiet though. The food is good and the food trays are frequently refilled.

Nice little place with friendly service and good advice. I just LOVE the vodka shots in Poland, and this place had legendary desserts. The main dishes were also very good.

One little nitpick: when the door is opened in the winter, the whole place gets cold immediately. They should consider investing in an air curtain.

Swiss lounge is located near M5 gate and has all the facilities u look 4. Good seating, tasty foods and lots of desktops to work. All are arranged very neat and clean. They have the provision for accepting the priority pass too. They have dedicated and high speed wifi too. Food items include beef, chicken, turkey, variety of fruits, different bread items and plenty of drinks. They have only halal items here!!

Please let me in, I gave you 5 stars as you asked. I was promised food and comfort, instead I was denied entry even when there are empty seats. I don’t eat much I promise ☹

Johanna in the Swissport Lounge at CHI OHare was very helpful in solving flight situation for me. She contacted the right people to get a fast answer. Kudos to her professionalism.

nice little fist class lounge, very remote and away from the "stress" :) however, don't expect too much but for me it was perfect! I was there with two other lovely ppl and we had the lounge to ourselves :)

Johanna went above and beyond to help me this evening. I am SO GRATEFUL for her terrific service. I wish the world had more folks like Johanna!

When I travel out of terminal 5 at O'Hare this is the lounge I prefer. Variety of food options. Plenty of beverages and liquor to choose from. It can get crowded at times. But it varies depending on the flights. Staff are always there taking your plates when finished. They are also a star alliance airline.

Lounge is very small, but feels cozy rather than crowded. Nice selection of food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Very nice lounge, they had a salad bar along with some other snack, makes the airport Hassel a lot less stressful

Had an amazing experience there ! Drinks and snacks are always available. Wifi is nice. Pretty clean and quiet.

The food is hilarious and the view from the top is so beautiful. Also, the service is great. Next time, I'll bring my family for a vacation
