Reliable and affordable is a big plus for Rock Falls

I've lived in RF for one year. The prices are a bit high, is my only complaint. Last year I had a few power outages. Which is normal. One was in connection with a surge that ruined my new modem and router. Now thinking about it. It was probably through the cable TV line not the power line. I was going to give 3 stars. I drive through to pay my bill and have never had a problem. Little to no wait.

They are the biggest scam in town prices are double what we used to pay with comed in Dixon. They will send a shut off notice every single month even if your only 1 day late. They will send someone over to try to shut your power off. Even when it’s negative windchills outside. They won’t listen to anyone’s hard times at all and charged us an extra $100 fee while it was never even shut off. They said it was because it’s water and electric so two $50 fees and but it’s the same bill so that makes no sense. The lady who answers the phones for payment is very very rude and I hope she gets what’s coming to her.

I've only lived in the Rock Falls for 3 months and I've had four power outages and bills that are double what I paid with Comed, electrical services so poor that you feel like you're living in a third world country.

Honestly this is the worst utilities I've ever dealt with. They are rude and don't get your power shut off twice or they will make you pay your bill, an extra 100 for it being late and an extra 500 for some other kind of dumb down payment you already payed for. I'm so livid. We can't take a hit like that in this economy. People are struggling rn.

Absolutely the worse around !!!! Only reason I moved out of RF I even lived outside city limits monthly pd $300-400 with a WELL so no water bill was included and worked 6 days a week so no one was home .... cmon!!!!! Don't move to RF people!!!!

Utilities/electric are absolutely ridiculous in Rock Falls. There is no consistency nor explanation. One month it could be $100 the next $200 or more, even though nothing has changed in your house. I am so happy to be getting out of city limits.

Horrible customer service. They treat you worse than the big corporations do. Also much more expensive and will turn you off at the drop of a dime, then they tack on a bunch of extra charges making it impossible to get your bill caught up.

This place absolutely sucks, staff, service, prices, thanks for the extra charges also you were closed on the 25th. Wish I could leave nothing.

I'm only giving 1 star because a negative 1000 wasn't an option .

Power randomly goes out even in beautiful sunny weather. Calls to the department go straight to voicemail. Most useless people in the city.
