The Main Dish

I'd love to give a review of this places food, but I've been here twice during business hours and have gotten no food!!! First time they said they had run out of food for the day 2 hours before close. Now they are cleaning which I do understand you need to clean. I just want some breakfast!!! Hopefully someday I'll make it when they have food and are open!!! Update, I made it for food this last time and the food was great and the service also great!!! I'd recommend if you can find them open and not out of food!

Breakfast was just what I needed we all love the food and service went above and beyond.

When a small-town diner only does breakfast/lunch and has been around this long... It's a sign you won't be disappointed. This is the best breakfast joint around the area. Don't hesitate.

Had breakfast here. The coffee is strong and they make a mean breakfast. So good. I'd go back for breakfast.

We love this place! Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious!! Prices are very reasonable and everything is clean. Every time we come to our house up north we always eat here several times!!

Love the food and the service. The blueberry pancakes and great and so are the wraps that Amanda makes. The specials that she makes and the Reuben omelette is awesome. I highly recommend trying Amanda's Main Dish eat in or takeout you will enjoy the friendly staff and great food.

Had a great chicken bacon ranch wrap today, it was great. Ask your server and they can order it for you. Sorry no pics today just couldn't wait to eat it.

We wanted to go for a bit of a drive on a beautiful Saturday morning so I looked for places that were about an hour away and found this place. The exterior is a bit deceiving as it looks like it'll be a very small place but it's surprisingly big on the inside. We had breakfast which was very good. The staff was also very friendly. We'll likely be back.

We sat down got our coffee quickly and ordered breakfast. I had the Philly omelet and my husband had steak and eggs. We chose American fried potatoes and whole wheat toast. Both very good. Waitress was very attentive. Awesome food and Service.

I was so impressed!!!
First I have a special diet due a health issue. I know a lot of restaurants do not even want to listen to me or answer my questions. Not here "what can we do or not do". I also feel no resentments about asking from anyone there either which is rare now adays.
The food was delicious good portions at a great value.

this is an excellent home town diner! the food and people are 2nd to none. I only have one complaint and that is they are closed on Mondays so no breakfast for me on Mondays. honestly this is a great place and I really love getting breakfast here each day.

Been going for years. Hidden treasure by many, and more to come. Staff is always great, and the food is perfect. Order the Monte Cristo and a cup of coffee, you'll love it. (Maybe even dunk it in your coffee)

Best service I have had from any restaurant food I'd awesome and prices are the same. 10/10 would recommend and is family friendly.

The food was very good and the server was excellent as far as politeness, conversation, checking on us during our meal and topping off coffee. And the prices for the meals was very reasonable.

This is a great local cafe. A place where you are known by name and they remember how you like your food cooked. Great food at low cost. Love coming here for breakfast!

The people are great and the food is fast and reasonably priced. We especially like the military wall of remembrance.
