Niles Community Health Center Obstetrics and Gynecology

For my first appointment, talk about good first impressions. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. All the next steps for baby and me were explained easily concerning the anatomy ultrasound and future visits. I was sad when told I wouldn't be getting an ultrasound today but once the doctor came and got the heartbeat monitored, I sort of mentioned my disappointment and without a second thought, she asked if I'd like one to see him. It had been a couple months since I saw him on the screen so I immediately said yes please. I left with 4 photos and felt completely reassured he's doing ok. Thank you guys 🤍

Dr. Wechter, Dr. Kaufman and everyone else there are all amazing!! They take the time to listen to any concerns, and I never felt like I was rushed. Dr. Wechter was able to found out that my baby boy was breech at 37 weeks. He was able to get me in for an external cephalic version just a few days later. Dr. Wechter and Dr. Kaufman both tried their best to turn my baby, but unfortunately, he didn't want to move. So, we scheduled a c-section at 39 weeks, and everything went great. My baby boy is almost a year old now. I definitely recommend Dr. Wechter and Dr. Kaufman if anyone is looking for an OBGYN.

I love the doctors here, they are understanding and actually tell me things I need to know and they give me more information on anything that I ask questions about.

Doctors don't really make you feel ready for birth, they rush everything and aren't very helpful

Front desk personal are not welcoming. No one smiles when you walk in the front door. First impressions are also crucial! However, the Dr and nurses are friendly. This needs to be addressed. Also no one says anything when you leave either. I might add I am not a patient here, came with someone. I sat and watched in the waiting room. Very uninviting.
