Wow. Ok here's my detailed opinion. Love. We found this gem on the Google map. I love searching for places when traveling, especially with the kids. Over 40 Alpacas and one llama reside on this free to visit ranch. Meet the rancher Sam, and take a tour of the alpaca barn. Take quarters when you go so you can feed them. This farm runs on love and donations to help keep it free for visitors. Learn everything you need to know about these beautiful animals. They have a glorious gift shop, everything is made locally with love and alpaca fiber. They have events throughout the year, I will absolutely be returning! Plan to spend at least an hour here. Tons of photo opportunities.

I highly recommend visiting this farm when you are in the area or looking for beautiful, high quality alpaca merchandise ( that can also be purchased on line). We talked to the owner for about an hour about his alpacas that he is so understandably passionate about. I learned so many interesting facts. He has some great stories as well.

A MUST if you’re in the area. It may look like no one is around when you first drive in (and google maps may tell you you’re “here” before you get to the entrance) but Sam will come out and share his knowledge.

We took my nieces to see the alpacas, it was an amazing experience. Wendy so very nice & she knows alot about these animals. If want to be able to give them a treat make sure you have quarters with you. Because their treats are in a machine an it costs a quarter to purchase , but it is worth it. My nieces loved it, to be able to give them something. You can learn alot from Wendy . Her husband Sam was not there the day we went . But im sure that he knows alot about them also . Thanks so very much for letting us spend time at your place today 😊.

Such a great place to learn about Alpacas! Wendy and Sam were really accommodating, and so were most of the animals! Especially Dorothy, one of the chickens and Callie, a friendly Alpaca. The shop has a nice variety of things for you and souvenirs! If you're near this location, you should defintely go!

We had an absolutely lovely time! We picked a rather rainy and chilly day for a visit and were the only ones there so we really received the VIP treatment! It was very educational and the barn and animals were well kept. Of course we had to visit the gift shop where my husband picked out a fabulous hat and I'm wearing my new socks right now!
