Bay Haven Lobster Pound

My daughter Victorianna birthday it's were she wanted to go for the first time. Amazing! 100 the best from, All Maine has ta offer. The service was outstanding!!! 10 outah 10 can't wait for the next visit.

Went last week for our anniversary. What a treat it was to find the two lobster for 20.99 special. It was delicious!! The soft shell lobsters were easy to pick and the drinks and sides were delicious. Also the fried shrimp and lobster casserole was great.

Great sea food and steak. Very reasonable price and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would give seven stars if I could. Great bar area with seating. Stopped by on a Friday night and got a table fast and amazing staff and food.

The food was terrific. The wait wasn't bad, we were seated in less time than expected. Prices are reasonable, portions generous. Wait staff was friendly and personable. Our server Brooke continued to check on our table even though she was clearly busy with many tables. I definitely recommend Bay Haven, we will be back.

The restaurant was clean. The staff are friendly and patient; overall, very professional. The food was excellent. Cooked perfectly, and looked as good as tasted. Worth every cent for some of the best fried seafood I've tried.

Fresh, live lobsters are kept right in the restaurant. The holding pools for them are well kept.

The Bay Haven Lobster Pound is one of our favorite seafood stops when we are in Maine. The food is always fresh, and the portions are over the top. We recently stopped in for lunch, and we had the lunch size servings, we still could not finish all the food on our plate. It’s always fresh and always delicious! We highly recommend you stop in when you are in Maine. Enjoy!!!

We were skeptical because of new ownership, but delighted when we got there. Hannah was our waitress and made us feel at home. Fisherman's platter was the best we've ever had. They have conquered the French fries. Everything was spotless, especially the windows. Only wish that they would honor Veterans.

Stopped in for lunch on this cold rainy day having gone without breakfast. Ordered Stuffed Mushrooms, Scallop and Shrimp combo (baked) with Rice Pilaf, salad, and Strawberry Shortcake. Shroons were very filling, heavily topped with melted cheese and could have been a bit warmer?, but very good; Shrimp-Scallop combo richly topped with lobster stuffing - also quite buttery rich, filling, & very good; Shortcake consisted of a warm biscuit with strawberries and whip - also very good. Service was excellent & my tip so reflected. Everyone around me was having fried seafood - quite a temptation. Going back very soon.

Excellent food and service!!!
I had the NY strip steak it was cooked and seasoned perfectly!
My husband had the fisherman's platter which was also cooked perfectly and the amount you get for the price is huge!
The poutine was good too!
This place was a great choice for our anniversary!
I also feel bad because I just realized we didn't give our waitress the proper tip she deserved

The food here is excellent. Their tartar sauce is some of the best I've ever had. Wing Wednesday is always a hit with so many different flavors to pick from. Their hand cut fries are fantastic.

We were a large party, 14, 8 adults and 6 children. The place was busy, we were seated quickly, our order taken quickly also. Our food was served quickly also. My Steamers and Lobster were perfect!!

Drove 2 hours up to Bay Haven, food was amazing. Fisherman's Platter is insanely big!! No fillers, all fresh seafood. Our waitress was excellent and attentive.

I like fried clams. Their fried clam plate is expensive. But if you get their scallop and clam combo I think you get a good amount of clams it is the Better Deal

We drove 3 hours to find this place after seeing there food on Facebook, the fisherman's platter fed me and my wife 3 times and was delicious!

Arrived at 3pm, perfect timing. Food was awesome, as well as the service. Hannah was great. We had seafood platter, it was huge. You could easily feed 4 on this. It was terrific, worth the 1 1/2 hour drive. Will definitely be back.

Twin lobster Thursday was incredible. Such a huge value! $20.99 for two 1 pound whole lobsters and your choice of two sides. Food came out quickly and our service was outstanding. The atmosphere is really nice and homey. They also have an incredible dessert list. Parking filled up by 6pm with a waitlist so I would get there at 5pm. Will definitely be back!
