Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, Crematory & Gardens

Wonderful place I stop by quite frequently to check on many family members. The flowers that I put there in the vases always look wonderful the grass is mowed to perfection. WONDERFUL PLACE

Staff was helpful and professional. Clean immaculate grounds in a lovely country setting. Very serene and quiet.

We were trying to find several family Graves and the staff was so helpful. The y gave us specific maps and even a copy of our loved ones obituary. Tha nk you so much everyone.

Everything good until after the funeral. Then flowers removed many times from husbands grave when supposedly during "allowed" timeframes. Also destroyed a rare VietNam era flag holder 2 days after Memorial Day. Changed my preplanned funeral arrangements.

My parents and maternal and paternal grandparents are buried at Mission Hills. I wouldn't recommend this cemetery to anyone. Gophers have been allowed to take over and are digging everywhere, even under headstones. My parents' graves and matenal grandparents' graves are beside a walkway that can't be used because the bushes on either side have not been trimmed for years and you can't get through. The vase on my parents' graves is always buried and we have to dig it up every year when we visit. I put solar lights on the graves every year and they're gone the following year even though I place them in the vases so they aren't in the way of mowing or trimming and as anyone knows, solar light batteries don't go dead in a year so it isn't that. The trees and bushes along the driveways have not been trimmed and are all but blocking them. I can only assume that it has changed management, because when my Dad was buried there, the grounds were kept up. Not anymore. We live in Virginia, so I only get by the cemetery once a year. Honestly, if I could give negative stars I would.

My mother was buried here in June 2023. We immediately paid for her grave site and grave marker when we spoke with them. We were promised her grave marker in 6 to 8 weeks. Stopped by in August, September no grave marker. Called them and several excuses including it wasn't paid. We had a copy of cashed check day after we buried her. Finally after many trips to see if it had been placed on her grave and to no avail was it there until Dec 27, 2023 and it was installed on the wrong grave. Unbelievable.

Both of my grandparents and my aunt is burried here. They say you can put flowers in the vase and they won't take anything out of it but that's not true. I can't even tell you the amount of times I would go out there and something I'd put in the vase would be gone. I have two butterfly ornaments that were very special to my grandma and aunt hooked onto the vase and they're both gone. All the flowers from both vases have been removed. But when you call and ask about it, all you get told is "oh no, we don't remove anything" If they don't remove things, I highly doubt someone would take everything from two vases and put them back in the ground as if nothing was in there to begin with. Horrible place for those visiting the loved ones they've lost. The staff is so inconsiderate.

Gave them 5000.00 for a beautiful grave marker, one year later and it is still not in place. Refuse to return any of my calls. Temporary marker is garbage, letters are literally falling off. Don't leave your loved ones here to rest eternally.

Garbage people and crooks. Stealing money owed to us and lying. Horrible attitude when dealing with family grieving loved ones.
