Beautiful location on the Pere Marquette River. Also has tent camping sites available right on the river.

Always a great spot to enjoy nature, pretty clean vault toilet, decent sized campsites, easy to find firewood, easy access to the river, some campsites are a bit of a walk from the parking area so bring your wagons or baskets on wheels unless you pack light. The tics are pretty bad this year so be mindful of that and have fun.

Really nice place. Discovered they have group camping area right on the river. Perfect place to replace and dip your toes on the water. Crystal clear water, and fast moving.

It was one exiting trip out there with my uncle. When we got there we were assaulted by mosquitoes but that usually does not happen.we went canoeing we had a nice campfire just being out in the wilderness. The stars are amazing at night just a beautiful sight.

This has always been a popular spot for people to rest while canoeing or tubing and I even saw people kayaking. This is a beautiful location on the Pete Marquette River and would be a fantastic place to camp.

Had a blast with the kids. Wish we would have actually caught fish but we had a great time.

Went Salmon fishing on October 9th and caught some nice ones. Decent spot to fish, you can hop in the river at a bunch of different spots.

Parking is away from campsites. Not a long walk but we didn't know this before arriving. It's a good idea to pack as light as possible.

Great quiet campground in the Manistee National Forest. Facilities are rustic but well kept, and the view of the river is spectacular!

Just started our 3rd year camping at Gleasons Landing (5 trips total) and it really is a treat. The location is relatively secluded but not too far from town, campsites are far enough apart that noise (ours or other campers') isn't really an issue, and nothing beats camping right by the river.

Quite little campgrounds, perfect for drifting down the river.

Love this campground. Came in July. Hosts are from Bowman campground. They are very helpful and keep bathroom and campsites clean. Watch for raccoons, bear, and porcupine. Wish there was a locking on dumpster, raccoon and bear proof. The weekend people park in handicap spaces and that's annoying.

I love this place been coming here since the early 80s northern Michigan is magical always has been rustic campground excellent fishing and views highly recommend

One of my favorite campgrounds. We spent a weekend in April here. Out houses are clean and the woods are a great backdrop to the river.

Nice place to fish or camp...bathrooms need attention for sure.

Great Forest Service Campground and boat launch. Be sure to have deet if you plan on camping there in the springtime.
