This campground was great. Definitely more old school, but sites were good sized and the feeling of being in the woods was awesome. My boys had a blast. We were in a 40’ diesel pusher, and I definitely wouldn’t take anything larger as it was tight on the road around the campground. This has more of a primitive feel but was truly a camping feel. Kevin was a great host with an upfront and honest no bs approach. Thanks for a great holiday weekend

Been going there for years with a friend who has a seasonal. New ownership amazing. Hard working. Campground is looking much better. Highly recommended. Great for folks with dirt bikes, side by sides and 4 wheelers. Lots of trails very close. Also great for just relaxing.

We stayed here for our family camp this year. I was nervous cause we haven't ever actually camped at a campground and this one was an hour away from home. But once we got there honestly two days wasn't long enough for our family. It went by so fast. We definitely plan to come back. The owner of the campground Kevin is very friendly and helpful. He has some rules but honestly that made our experience better. We definitely had a good time!

Had a blast on our Holliday weekend at Adventures of Putman Lake. First of all the staff is very friendly and Kate is on top of everything, from taking you to your site to getting wood to your site. 🌟Everything went great. Available sites w/ water & electric hook ups,🌟bathrooms near office with showers were clean inside🌟Also near office is dump station🌟porta potty’s through out the camp ground. Pet friendly🐶🌟If you have kids this is your camp! They have trails for for Atvs,🌟a lake for fishing and swimming jumping of inflatable water trampoline,🌟 did I mention they also have kayaks and paddle boat!🌟 The campsite are very spacious whether looking at just for tenting or taking your Trailer camper🌟 So as you can see I would definitely make this your camping destination because it sure surpassed 5 star rating for us! We are looking forward coming back again🤗

This place is amazing, I came in August and from the moment I arrived ppl embraced me and treated me like family. Mr. Kevin does what it takes to make sure you have a great time and everything is enjoyable. Don't expect this place to be a luxury like Sleeping Bear Dunes or something. This is a beautiful camp ground with many great things to see beautiful trails the lake is peaceful you can fish, the sandpit is cool as well And it has a park for kids. This is so far one of the best I have been too I have to return. Kevin is a great guy!

My family has camped here several times in the last few years. We love it!! Kevin is very nice and respectful. He always tries to accommodate everyone’s needs. I love rustic camping and that is exactly what this campground is. Although there is water and electric, it is still very wooded and full of nature. There is canoes and life jackets for everyone’s use, free is charge. We will continue to go to this campground as long as we can. It’s a great place to camp and close to the trails. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!!

Pros: kayaking, canoeing, water trampoline, lake, park for kids, friendly owner, easy to navigate, orv trail, clean, shower room.

Cons: none!!!!

Ann's putman campground is amazing! All the reviews which stated that the owner is a piece of work are OUT DATED REVIEWS! the campground has a new owner Kate and she's beyond amazing! She was available with questions and answers/ concerns if any at all times. The campground is tricky to navigate ( at nighttime especially if you haven't been here before. But you can call Kate and she'll help you!!) Everyone (the other campers) were all so welcoming and approachable as well. There is hot coffee, and hot chocolate and other items in the morning available! It's got a shower room, and a little park for the kids! The lake and the water trampoline was our favorite! There's also canoeing, and kayaking available ! There's an orv trail we didn't get to experience this time but for sure next time!

Highly recommend for a staycation or even longer trip!!!!

This campground is definitely a rustic adventure, which is what they advertise! :)
We were able to fish, play in the water, ride our ATV's, catch some frogs and even pet a bunny!
The owner was so incredibly nice to share his pontoon boat with my son and husband so they were able to get a little further out on the lake to catch their "big one"
Thanks for a fun weekend adventure!

Pulled in for a quick night. Quiet and friendly. Kevin met us at the site about an hour or two after we pulled in. We will be back! Beach was small but nice. Secluded sites. Only hooked up electric as we are pretty self contatained but seen many water hydrants.

Everyone was nice. I loved our spot it was quiet. The main orv were a 5-10 minute drive on back roads but campground much better and secluded then the Northcounty campground. Plus had fishing, beach, kayaks and other in campground activities like pig roast and chili cook off.

We spent the long 4TH of July weekend celebrating our independence here and it was a "BLAST". Kevin is a very accommodating host. he had a dirt site that was level with water and electric. We will be back for sure

We and another couple stayed in this campground over the 4th of July. This is the definition of a family run mom & pop campground. That is not a bad thing. If you are spoiled by State parks and expensive private campgrounds you might not like this as much.
There are only two plumbed bathrooms near the office with showers and they are basically like home bathrooms and not your typical commercial grade bathrooms. There are plungers next to the toilets... for example. I wouldn’t say they were immaculate but they weren’t horrible either. There was no paper towel our whole stay but there was soap. There are outhouses EVERYWHERE and they don’t stink. I think they take care of them well.
There are trees everywhere and plenty of shade. No fear of getting stuck in a "parking lot" type of site here. Feels like real camping plus water and power. We were yelled at a few times for our dog barking and driving down the one-ways the wrong way but this was our fault and I actually count this as a positive. I like no-nonsense administration. As long as nobody gets special treatment and rules are rules. There were no loud parties at night and it felt very safe. The owners are always around doing various maintenance tasks. They deliver wood to your site on a four wheeler for $5 a bundle. There were horse drawn carriages going around (that made our dogs bark haha) that added to the charm. The petting zoo they have is interesting and there are two full play-sets for children to play on.
The beach/lake was AMAZING. The water was perfect on the fourth. There are kayaks and canoes that you can use FOR FREE. You must give them a heads-up that you are using them and they are serious about bringing a life jacket with you (another good thing). There are two swimming platforms at about 15ft deep areas with no weeds. There are weeds between the sandy shore and kids swimming area and the swimming platforms but I actually just took a kayak out to them haha.
The layout of the campground is kind of confusing because you enter via Wonderland Street off 10 but have to drive a ways to get to the office, where most campgrounds have the office at the entrance. The one ways made it take an extra few minutes to get to our site every time we went to town due to the 5 MPH restriction so if there was a cut-through that would be nice.
So in conclusion I would not hesitate to stay here again if I was in Baldwin and not with a bunch of prissy women who needed perfect facilities haha.

It's not a 5 star hotel, but if you want rustic camping, a good family atmosphere this is a pretty awesome place

The owners are super nice and friendly.

This was a last minute search to keep a promise to my little, and my 7 year old is having a blast

Found a little dimond in the rough I say 😍😍😍

There's nothing like paying to be homeless with good folk
