I've been waiting for a few years for Great Northern distilling to open a location that I could actually visit. We tried many times at Plover and it just never worked out.

This is their new location, and it definitely shows that they put the effort in making it an absolutely gorgeous place. There's even a room in back for rentals like wedding receptions. They have a small kitchen, so there's a few appetizers that can be gathered.

The drinks are great, and their spirits are a wonderful standard spirit set. If you get a chance to chat with the mixologist they can enlighten you on a variety of drinks that they have available.

Really awesome atmosphere at this place! We had no idea it had opened up in Stevens Point, we stumbled across it on a whim. So we were quite happy to find what a beautiful venue it is, and how amazing the drinks are. We didn’t get any food, but what others around us ordered looked very good! Definitely making this a regular place we visit

My cousin and I stopped to have a couple cocktails, and what we tried was very good. Our server was great. Nice modern atmosphere with plenty of seating.

First time checking this place out, and it was lovely! I had the espresso martini and the flat bread, and I enjoyed it very much.

Cool new place with nice drinks and good food. My only suggestion would be to use one big ice cube instead of a glass full of ice. All that ice waters down the drink and is meant for cheap cocktails.

Great Northern Distilling's drinks are nothing short of a magical elixir crafted by wizards of mixology. (My personal favorite is the oak barrel gin.) The best time we’ve had in a long time! All the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed tasting several different spirits, had some great Old Fashioneds and brought home brandy. My husband enjoyed a Whisky Sour. Highly recommend.

An amazing mid-century modern vide. There isn’t a bad drink to order, just shades of your own preference. I have only been there once so far, but the staff were absolute gems. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome place. Took the tour with my daughter and had a blast. $10 tour includes a cocktail and sampling of sprits. Tour guide is also one of the mixologists (a title I generally hate, but well deserved for folks here). The attention given to the crafting of each drink was incredible. Learned a lot on the tour, enjoyed and few cocktails and conversed with the owner Brian Cummings. He couldn't be more amicable. They have established a gem of a place here with some of the finest people and spirits.

Insanely wonderful atmosphere and beautifully crafted drinks.

I have been here several times over the past three years. Took the tour for the first time with 5 friends. The tour was informative, educational and fun too! The cocktails are potent, the tour guide/ co owner was entertaining and knowledgeable. Recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good fun experience!

5 star traditional whiskey sour with egg whites

This place is excellent! The bar is a great place to spend some afternoon or evening time enjoying their artistically crafted cocktails. If you are looking to make your own drinks, they sell their products in the stores too. Very high quality spirits, at a price point that reflects the work they put in to making them, not excess marketing, i.e, Jack Daniels. Take a tour some time, very interesting.

We went for the tour and it was such an amazing experience! It was $10 and well worth the price. You get a mixed drink right away to take with you on the tour and then samples of what they've created (about 6 liquors when we were there). Our tour guide was also the owner and was very informative and answered all of our questions. If you're in the area hit it up!
