Aspirus Eagle River Hospital - Emergency Department

I would just like to say that I was treated with kindness and respect. I went there because I was sick and there was no way I could drive to Rhinelander and the clinic by us has been booked solid all week. They took me back right away and brought me a warm blanket. They did a covid test and it was positive. I was thankful to have an answer as to why I was so sick.

The hospital responded and dealt with Mom's sudden emergency swiftly and with compassion. 4 more ambulances came in right after us, but they responded to my questions, shared findings and included us in decisions.

They took care of my issues the staff was very knowledgeable they very efficient but the doctor himself should be taught to talk to people differently he said things to me that made me feel like I was on my way out I'm not going to get into details I went to iron mountain V. A. Had the same tests done and it was not the same results .

It's been said time and time again, but if I could give this facility a zero I would in a heartbeat.

Myself and others, on many occasions have had terrible experiences here. God help you if you have an emergency and need treatment past 10PM. Most likely you'll wait an hour, maybe even two, or even three (no joke) and when you approach the desk the receptionist will most likely be sleeping.

Aside from that, their nursing staff and even some licensed doctors have seriously come across as nothing but cold and uncompassionate - and I hear this constantly from other people, mind you. Instances of the type of unethical behavior are too many to list here, so unfortunately, you're going to have to take my word for it.

Just know, I wouldn't spend the time and conveyed the emotional distress Ive said here if I didn't mean it.

AWFUL they are so unprofessional and need to go back to school obviously. 7 year olds are more attentive and competent than these doctors.
