We had an absolutely amazing experience here! The atmosphere was perfect and the food was so delicious! I had the stuffed haddock and my husband had the NY Strip steak, they were both amazing. The owners were so nice too! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We were really impressed with the variety of options on the menu, and the different spins on the choices. Lots of great seafood choices! Salad bar was fresh & full of good stuff, soup was really tasty, and the rolls with cinnamon butter were delicious! Plus the decor and structure of the building is so interesting, and has so much Hortonville history. Great service too!

An amazing experience! The food was incredible. The chef has some serious talent. The variety on the menu and daily specials, I was very impressed. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice! Definitely worth checking out! Will be going back again without a doubt!

The food is great! This is truly a great place with a lot of historic references from signage, pictures, and maps in the building. The "newer" dining room adds a lot of space and creates a comfortable warm feeling with the large fireplace at the end.

My wife and I both got burgers which were both very good. For both burgers the beef was cooked perfectly (at least for me) and had a lot of great taste (not over cooked but not bleeding either). The additional unique toppings between both of them (one with cheese curds and the other with BBQ and bacon) also added a great compliment to the great patty. Also, the fries were also notably very good too.

Had steaks . . .tenderloin, prime rib, NY strip and all three came out perfectly along with the sides that go with them. Salad bar was end of night and could have been freshened but good selection of items.
Service was very good from bar to waitress.
We haven't had a bad meal here. Highly recommend.

Superb and friendly service by the female owner. Friday night fish fry has great choice of fish, perch, blue gill, haddock and it includes the salad bar, your choice of potato and warm tastey rolls with cinnamon butter. You can get a "regular" order which is genorous for only $16.95 which includes all of the above or a half order or a combination platter of the above fish for $19.95. So you get a great value served in a warm friendly atmosphere. The rest of their menu is very interesting. I highly recommend.

Just had Lemon Garlic Tilapia over sweet potato puree it was awesome! Perfect light sweet meal for summer. Had the best cinnamon roll bread pudding for supper. Get it you will have a smile on your face and spring in your step...

Love the atmosphere, very friendly staff. Food is amazing highly recommend trying their Fish Fry on Wednesday or Friday nights. Had Breakfast several times as well was delicious and very affordable!

I very much enjoyed our latest visit. The food was great. The Edition is dibe and looks wonderful, it really opened up the place. The portions are average in comparison to the price.

Always a wonderful experience with drinks at the bar from the friendly bartenders to the amazing meal (Pecan Crusted Walleye us phenomenal) in the dining room with excellent wait staff. Live this place!

Loose Wheel is my favorite place to eat; lots of options on the menu, home made food, soup & salad bar is fantastic, fresh bread made in house and the staff is always nice to talk to.

Service was amazing , food was fresh, delicious, great salad bar , soup was incredible, all fresh cooked per order, melt in your mouth Crab stuffed Haddock, must dine here.

the staff were so friendly, not crowded, amazing food, high prices, but worth it. i would go there again, i also would recommend it to people.

Came with some friends for drinks. Cozy atmosphere, service was great. Will def. have to come back to try the food.
