Took a detour on the way to Minnesota and discovered this Fabulous Brewing company.
Excellent Pizza (Josh's Pickled🥒) and delicious custom brews.
Open air dining made for a relaxing meal.
Wonderful service. There will be new Fall 🍂 brews coming out soon... no doubt they will be Amazing!

Passing on our way through to Sioux Falls and decided to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. What a pleasant suprise to find this gem! The place primarily offered brews, specialty pizzas, nachos, and wings. We went out of our box and tried the Thai pizza, yum, definitely something to try if you love peanut butter! We had an Augtoberfest and Edna's 8 to drink, and neither were to disappoint. We loved that the place had windows that opened up to make you feel like you were eating out on the patio. And did I mention the wonderful gentleman who greeted us and took our order, he immediately engaged us with his bright, dimply smile and offered up suggestions per our tastes. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we would highly recommend!

We stopped here after seeing the billboard on I90 and we're glad we did, we will return next time we're in the area. The beer selection was interesting and we liked everything we ordered. We had the Thai peanut and the tator tot pizzas, both were rally good! The staff was really friendly and checked on us several times. We brought our dog and he wasn't allowed inside, of course, but they put out some tables outside and brought us some water for him. I have no complaints, everything was great.

Quaint brewery with nice variety. We did all but the IPA and their beers are light, refreshing flavorful. The Paycheck had a hint of jalapeno for me but more pronounced for more sensitive husband. If you expect a punch of jalapeno like Kinkaders Devil's Gap, it is not bold and more subtle. The Gold is crisp, light, and a drink all day without the heaviness. We really enjoyed the Alaskan Ale, too. Now the food. We ordered the street tacos nachos and peanut butter Thai pizza. Both were delicious. The crust was probably the best I have had! Buttery and crisp!. Well worth a stop!

Wonder system for ordering food, and beer, a little unconventional but I love it. I tried 4 different beers and they were all amazing. The wings were awesome. The atmosphere was fun. Definitely will come back if I am passing through.

Great beer in unconventional flavors. Their food is great, too! We were there for trivia night a while ago as well and that was a blast! A must-try when you're in Worthington!

It was confusing as a newbie here to know where to go/ what to do. They have a bar but 1 register at one end where you place orders and pick them up when your light goes off. It was super busy as they do music bingo on Sundays but we were unaware. Made it hard to talk but the music was fun! Pizza was amazing and wings had great flavor. Ordered a flight of 4 beers and all were tasty. I can't wait to go back!

Favorite place to come! Beer is second to none! Pizzas are ohenominal and the staff is wonderful!

This is always a must stop when we visit family in Worthington! Never a single complaint. There's always something interesting on tap alongside the staples. Love the Mexican lager and the RoRo IPA is a delight. Order a pizza or any of the appetizers. You won't be disappointed.

Saturday afternoon live music. Friendly employees all around great place to relax haven't tried the food yet but when I do it will get a review.
So nothing else going on come on down.we be looking for you.

Had a wonderful time at Forbidden Barrel! We were driving through and decided to stop for a beer and pizza - glad we did! Pizza was great and beers were unique and delicious. We had a great time chatting with Cheryl, the owner, at the bar. We will come again next time we are passing through :)

Great experience at the Forbidden Barrel! Several different kinds of beers and other local crafts available as well. Even white claws, wine, and the 1919 root beer from Schell's Brewery for other non beer options. This place is also family friendly and have food! We haven't yet tried their food but look forward to it during our next visit!

Enjoyed the beer !! 4 samples 5 oz pours in my flight!! Loved all four!! My companion enjoyed Paycheck times four!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺 Corn nachos were amazing!! Such a unique taste!! Owner very friendly and worth the trip!! Will definitely be back!!

Stopped in and everyone was very friendly! The menu was cute and had a good variety. As someone who doesn't drink beer, it was nice to see other options! Loved the decor!

We stopped here on our way from Minnesota to Nebraska. Beers tasted delicious and I loved the peanut butter pizza while I’m not a peanut butter fan. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop!

From the food to drinks … go to Forbidden Barrel. If their special … Grandpas Pizza doesn’t make you want more of Grandpa Dennis’s culinary genius ideas then you are not a true foodie. Don’t take off one ingredient. Eat everything here the way it is made.
