Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery, Loon Juice Hard Cider, and The Traditionalist Bourbon Distillery

I've been to a solid number of wineries in my lifetime, and Four Daughters has always been the best. I first went there in 2014 and have basically been thinking about it ever since then. It's about three hours away from my house in a direction we don't go very often, so I didn't get the chance to go back until ten years after the fact. I made a special detour to go by myself, and I didn't have very long, but I got to do a white wine tasting and have the cheeseburger. Truly one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had - and the fries too. Parmesean truffle fries. There wasn't a single wine I didn't like. The moscato-ish one was a bit too sweet, but I would still happily drink it. The Brianna is my absolute favorite, but any of the whites are really spectacular. If you like wine even a little bit - if you like cheeseburgers even a little bit - you have GOT to go.

The charcuterie board was excellent we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly don’t usually like them. Because the cheese is usually flavorless and the meats are cheap. They were the opposite it was very good! I got the cheeseburger meal and it was the best burger I’ve had in along time. The meat was tasted like a mixture of high grade steak with grass fed burger. Flavorful and the texture was just right. To call it a hamburger doesn’t do it justice.

Very nice winery. They have wine, ciders and bourbon. The ciders we tried were good. They do flights for all three of them. The maple bourbon was also good. The food we got was very good. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The food prices seemed high.

This winery has some fantastic wines that would easily rival most wine country vineyards on the West Coast. Superb selection of reds and whites. To add to that, they also make excellent apple cider. There is a menu of pizzas, cheese plates, and other foods as well. Baby friendly. Very friendly staff. And to add to all of that, there is also a distillery in the back serving up some good bourbon. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

Went hear yesterday and didn’t know what to expect, but the adventure turned out to be really good. I’m not a big wine drinker although I was surprised to find the bourbon which they have and that had great taste to it. My wife did enjoy the wine and thought the I sampling options they had available were perfectly sized.

We also had some of their food (4D nachos and the cheeseburger) and both were very good. The nachos were a bit of a twist as instead of traditional corn tortilla chips they were kettle cooked potato chips with a bunch of different toppings that together had great favor. The cheeseburger was amazon as it was done just perfect and was very juicy.

Will probably go back again someday.

A great selection of wines, bourbons and ciders. Had the pizza for lunch and it was great along with a rose and bourbon flights.

The food here, while outstanding, lends itself to a larger crowd and big eats. The menu here is very small and they don't really have normal appetizers like some starch and dip or small plates. I ordered the carrot and parsnip soup. I was wonderfully surprised at the depth of flavor and presentation. It was a huge hit for me! It was representative of a top notch chef in the kitchen and definitely makes me want to return when I get a bigger appetite. The wine was crisp and tasty! Highly enjoyable, but it wasn't really like a fine wine you get at a steakhouse. Sweet winery wine, which is okay, but I'd rather enjoy the food and scenery, to be honest. Have been here before in the past and always enjoyed myself, it did not disappoint post-Covid. I just wish the menu had come back to its former self.

The Four Daughters Vineyard (and now "Distillery" as well, mind you) is exactly what I wanted when I thought of a vineyard.

The establishment itself is spacious, well-manacured, classy, and the choices of food and drink are ample (so long as you actually like wine, spirits, and their "Loon Juice").

Wine choices are pretty diverse, with a single flight of Reds having 6 options, with other types having similarly large variety. You also get anything ranging from conventional Cabarnet flavors to the surprising "Velvet Hammer", which combined a small quantity of brandy to really catch me off guard (in the best way).

Food options aren't massively varied, and that's because they specialize. The pizzas are fantastic! My girlfriend and I had a pizza including caramelized onions and balsamic-marinated mushrooms, and it was an umami haven.

Service is also exactly what I could ask for, sith knowledgeable wait staff that also are well-humored and will let you taste things before you buy (if you ask nicely perhaps).

Overall, this is the scenic experience that also delivers good results, as well, and I reccomend it to visitors from all around.

We had a class dance there, and the three course meal was awesome. The beef was cooked and seasoned better than any meat I’ve had before. My visit was not a normal one so I can’t judge how good it is normally, but from what I’ve seen it is a great place to visit.

Four Daughters is so lovely, I love this winery so much! They have a great wine & cider list. The food is awesome + the space is beautiful. The views are really pretty, too! This is an awesome spot to have a group event or a quiet dinner. I used to love coming here when I lived in Rochester, MN, I would definitely return if I’m ever back in the area!

Great experience. Loon juice (cider) flights were a hit for non-wine drinkers. Mix of Minnesota grown grapes(Marquette) and California grapes barreled and aged on-site. We had the Sangiovese wine after trying a flight. Excellent pizza. Italian sausage, rosemary, and pistachio was very good, but the pepperoni and corn on the cob was the bomb. Totally unexpected. The smoked corn with cheese..... I could go on and on. It disappeared from the plates quickly. Did I say the pizza was great?

At Four Daughters Winery you will feel so relaxed just like you are at home. The wines and Loon Juices are all so delicious. The Pinot Noir is a red wine that is perfectly sweet. The specialty wine flight is my favorite. Try the dessert- It is FABULOUS! Our favorite part is the seasonally changing menu. We have gone to several dinner events and they wow us every time!

What a delightful experience for lunch! Our kids enjoyed the pizza, and my husband and I loved the sirloin-lobster special and the apple-walnut salad. I liked the Big Boy Red blend wine and my husband liked the Loon Juice rosé. We loved the vibe and modern architecture of this place. We live in the Twin Cities, and we were visiting the area, and think it’s worth a special trip there.

Beautiful winery! The space indoors and out were great. We tried two wine flights and one Loon Juice flight. We found some favorites and walked out with several Loon Juices. Extra Juicy and Grow a Pear were our favorites! Enjoy!

Very nice winery, great tasting wines, and yummy food. Service is top notch as well. We would visit regularly if we lived closer.

Passed this place traveling. Stopped in for a bite and a glass of wine. Did a tasting for $10. Food was delicious. Friendly staff, and chill environment. They had a bajo band playing that was great! My bartender Chuck was great!

Maciah was the absolute best and most knowledgeable bartender we have ever came across! Very friendly and super sweet and always kept our glasses full!

I recently visited Minnesota and went to Four Daughters with my friend. You ordered your food and drink at the bar and then could sit either inside or outside where a server would bring your food. I got the blanca sangria which was delicious. My friend ordered a cabernet and enjoyed it as well. We ordered a Margherita pizza and charcuterie board. The pizza was so good! The charcuterie board came with cheese, meats, honey, bread, crackers, pear and a fruit jam. The view was so pretty while eating outside. I would love to return to Four Daughters next time I visit!

Very cozy atmosphere! My favorite wine ever is the American Pinot Noir. Great wine, great food! Highly recommend!
