This place loves kids and art and play! Our family was there for 2 hours, and hope to return. Staff is wonderful- very kind and welcoming.
Plenty of comfortable & quality made seating (eg Adirondack chairs) scattered all throughout, in case you didn’t expect your party to be there 2 hours. :)
Kids need screen free activities and toys like these. Great place to assemble a gift wish list too. Highly recommend the stop!

LARK Toys is the largest and best toy store I have ever seen! I particularly loved their book room, stuffed animals, puppets, puzzles, and massive selection of educational toys! In addition to toys, there is an indoor carousel, a mini-golf course, a candy store, a snack counter, and a gift shop. LARK Toys also has an amazing collection of antique toys to view. ❤

What a fun place to visit! Whether you have a child or a child at heart, this place has EVERYTHING!!! From stuff animals, to figurines, to Legos, to puppets to toys that you don't see anymore. It was also fun to see toys from the old days to my childhood toys. There is also a little candy shop and ice cream while you wait for the carousel. Would highly recommend for all kids both young and old! ✌

Absolutely unreal! Toys from all days past, plus a carousel, and a massive gift shop too! Didn't do the mini golf since it was 100F on Labor Day weekend. A must see attraction in the area.

I highly recommend this place for kids and grown ups! My husband and I brought our 3 and 5 yr olds and we all had a blast. There are antique toys, 1980's childhood toys and toys your parents and grandparents had! The nostalgia is REAL. There's mini golf, a merry go round, indoors, and books and lots of new toys to see.

This place is magical! Whether you are a kid or a kid at heart you will love this place. The museum part gives me such great nostalgic feelings. There are so many cool toys including ones that they make on site. I didn't get to see the llamas or play mini golf because it was rainy and cold, but I'm definitely going back to check those out. My absolute favorite part is the carousel that has amazing hand carved wooden animals, also made at Lark toys. I highly recommend checking all of it out!

Super fun day at high end toy store. Sign the guest book, shop and ride the carrousel $3 - it’s magic ;). Nice little restaurant too. There’s a shop where wooden toys are made - fresh cut wood smells great. Their kids book selection is huge.

As someone who generally avoids toy stores I have to drag my kids out of and things that feel like tourist traps, I was hesitant, but happily surprised. We could do everything else and totally avoid the store. The mini golf was great and I'm pretty picky about mini golf. Was fun for the adults while still doable for the kids and obviously very new. The carousel was gorgeous, hand carved animals, and really fun. Picked up a couple things in the gift shop. My husband and I loved geeking out at the toy display and our toddlers pretty much lost their minds. When we have more time we'll do the toy store. Glad we came for sure.

Going to Lark Toys is a very enjoyable experience. It makes you feel like your stepping into different world. They have done a fabulous job making an iconic toy store.
They do not discourage kids from using their imaginations and playing while shopping. Most every toy has a sample toy out for the kids to hold, touch, and play with before purchasing. The library has cozy nests and seating to enjoy while shopping.
They also make their own wooden toys and have a viewing area to watch the toys being made. The hand-made toys are those old fashioned, well-made, last a lifetime, be past down through generations kind of toys.
The candy store, home-made fudge, and wooden merry-go-round have my kids asking for Lark whenever we are in the area. We make a special 2 hour trek just to visit Lark twice a year.
It is an absolute MUST whether your just down the road or thousands of miles away! Make it happen, you won't regret it!

A forever favorite.
Still love it even though the kids have grown up. Carousels are not just for children! Fun shops, ice cream and snacks, books and games, mini golf and llamas.

What a beautiful store! Well-planned layout; fun activity areas for younger kids; fascinating displays of toys from the past. Hope to bring the grandkids there soon to try out the carousel & mini golf options. It's definitely worth the drive!

We travel from Denver to the area to see family and make sure Lark is on our to-do list. I’ve been going every year for the last 10 years with younger cousins but I have a new appreciation now that I have a baby of my own. Great variety of toys and I LOVE the book selection. The carousel is also a must! I’m looking forward to bringing my daughter on our annual trips :)

Amaaaaazing Place!! I live in Winona and have gone past this place over 100 times and stopped for the first time. It is one of the greatest places i've ever seen!! The toy store itself is nothing compared to the museum part. All the old toys they had were so cool to see. Some I used to play with and some my mom used to play with. I can't wait to bring my grandma here someday! This place is awesome. We came at like 3 pm on a Sunday and it was packed with loud kids and crabby moms, but that's just what to expect at a giant toy store. But for adults, it's almost more fun to see your childhood in the beautiful set ups they made.

I've never been to pretty much everyone in Minnesota has heard of Lark Toys before so while in the area, I decided to stop in, what a wonderful place, the displayed antique toys as well as the retro toys brought back memories and they also has some of my favorite books from childhood. I really did enjoy my visit. I plan to stop again sometime when I'm down there

We brought our son's here in the early 90's and look forward to bringing our grandchildren. So much to do. Mini golf and hand-carved carousel. The toy store has excellent choices for every child. The stroll past toys and dolls of days gone by brings back wonderful memories. Come with children or just take a stroll and enjoy this gem of a place.

Never been here before, and we LOVED it! Excellent selection of non-electronic toys and books. Amazing exhibits of nostalgic toys, books, comics, etc. And loved the carousel & full deli. There is also mini-golf but it was too chilly for us (next time!) Overall a MUST MUST MUST if you have never been here. Plan to Christmas shop here for sure!

Must Stop by Wabasha on highway 61. Hand made wood toys, games, beautiful carved and hand painted carrousel rides, mini-golf, food, fudge and family toy collections. Walk down memory lane for both children and adults imaginations.
