Had a great kayaking adventure there. Even after I broke my kayak paddle. Explored the river and managed to get back to the launch with a broken paddle :)

Was looking for a place to fish that is kid friendly and stumbled across this place! Very kid friendly with benches around. My daughter even caught a small catfish wish was fun. I will definitely be going back here. The walking trails are nice also and it's very clean. I also noticed alot of people using small boats such as kyacks and canoes.

Very well maintained park with a beautiful relatively small network of trails. One trail winds through a forested swamp area and others along the waterfront. There are many benches (each dedicated to someone) that are great for people such as myself, with a walking disability. You can walk a little, then take a rest. There is a small boat launch for access to Newfound Lake.

We put kayaks in here. There were also walking trails that told about local fauna. It gave you the option of kayaking into the lake or up the cockermouth river. We went the river. So much fun. Easy going.

People are respectful of personal space both when walking the trail with dogs or using the boat launch area. Great for a 10 minute walk in the woods to clear your mind.

Beautiful spot to take a quiet hike, paddle, or just sit and enjoy nature. Brand new picnic tables, with benches coming in a few days, will make it even more inviting !

I almost hate to say that I love it here in fear it will get too populated each weekend.

VERY clean and beautiful area for launching kiaks into the cleanest lake in NH.

My wife and I come here to get away for a few hours and its ALWAYS worth the trip.
