Willa Cather Childhood Home

The Willa Cather Center is an international center in Red Cloud, Nebraska. It offers numerous insights into the life of Will Cather. There is a tour of Willa's childhood home and there is another tour of quite a few of the sites in the county mentioned in Willa's many books. The Opera House furnishes a wide variety of renowned talent. Willa had a wonderful talent for painting pictures with her words, describing the characters in her books and the ever-changing glorious Nebraska landscapes, sun rises, and sunsets.

What a neat place to visit. My tour guide was a fount of information and all the staff were very helpful. Incredible history on Willa Cather. I could have spent the whole day in red cloud.

Wasn't open since it was the weekend but glad i at least got to see it.

Was there on a Sunday, so the museum and this were closed. Nice to see history of a great American rider preserved.

Red cloud is a beautiful quaint town, and they take pride in honoring Willa Cather.
