Fun place for brunch. Had pumpkins pancakes and the grilling cheese with bacon. Amazing delicious 😋 and the mimosa station set up at our table was fun too.

The staff were very nice. I enjoyed my meal. The space was very accommodating to our 20+ group size. Although our adults were a little boisterous, the staff remained friendly and attended to our needs. Sadly, they close early with restaurant hours and not late like bar hours at this hotel bar/restaurants. Still fun, nonetheless.

The inn was very nice and the staff was super friendly, patient, and accommodating. The receptionist went above and beyond for me (thank you so much!). The room was clean and orderly upon arrival. The hotel is old but well maintained. The Epoch Gastropub is downstairs inside the Inn. It is very nice, the service is excellent and the food is wonderful! The only complaint I would have is the menu prices are obscene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the staff.

For anyone traveling to New England, it is worth visiting the little town of Exeter and stop by Epoch Restaurant. I tried the Fried Green Tomatoes and Short Rib Cavetelli, ending with the Apple Cobler. Great atmosphere, great food, great service.

Me and my wife and two of our friends recently eight here and enjoyed our visit immensely. The food was absolutely amazing what is even better is that Tracy our waitress took very good care of us even though we knew she was understaffed and overwhelmed…She didn’t complain whatsoever and did not make one single mistake with the multiple drinks appetizers and main courses for four people. We will certainly be back and we will tell all of our friends as well as we are regulars to visit our children at the Academy

We had a lovely brunch. The service was wonderful, and the food fantastic.

We celebrated my mother and step father in law's anniversary with a fantastic dinner. Great cocktail and wine menu, and the food was mouth watering. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. We made a reservation and I'm so glad we did because it was busy on Friday night. We will definitely be back!

The menu is superb, ambiance is great, service is good..but Katie the manager is amazing! She went above and beyond tonight. We stumbled on the restaurant because we are staying in the hotel, but we will return even when we aren't staying at the Exeter Inn. Katie greeted us, made sure everything was good and even helped with a personal issue. We appreciate this kind of customer service. Thank you

Don't tell anyone! This place is a local's favorite! Wednesday's are locals Date Night as the restaurant hosts a new menu for the week. The chef takes pride in his work and the kitchen fresh ingredients are sourced locally as much as possible so your salads and vegetables will constantly change with the seasons. The staff are attentive, professional and just down home genuine. The history, ambiance and synergy of the hotel, the bar and restaurant comes together beautifully.

Can't say enough about the wonderful experience my husband and I enjoyed at The Exeter Inn and Epoch Restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly, our suite was modern yet charming, everything was shining and spotless, and the meals were fabulous and prepared to perfection. The prices are high but we received a 20% off coupon for the restaurant. Room service for breakfast was quick and delicious. Can't wait to return.

We found this hidden gem while searching for a last minute dining option and so glad we did! Friendly and attentive staff, and the food was very good. It actually took us totally by surprise.

Food was so good! We had mussels as appetizer then had the arugula salads-both so good!, Then had the crab corn chowder-very good and the tuna with wasabi peas- very good. Service was exceptional and we sat outside with our dog-so enjoyable.

I really love this place. The food is always tasty, special and healthy. The kids options are good quality and tasty for them. The service very good and atmosphere pleasant. It's also nice enough to dress up but casual everyday is also OK.

We live right down the street and look forward to anytime we are able to stop in for dinner, drinks, brunch or even a movie on the lawn (we saw Hocus Pocus this past fall and it was such a fun date night!) This is one of our favorite spots in town, and it's not just because we're practically neighbors. So lucky to have this great spot in town cannot recommend it enough!

This place is hugely under-rated! I have no idea why it doesn't have 5 out of 5 stars. I spent 3 nights at the Exeter Inn and every night I had to eat at this place because the food was simply outstanding. Maybe their service slows down when they are busy, but what restaurant doesn't have that issue.

I was served the absolute BEST duck I have ever eaten in my life. The green chili soup was out of this world. The Oysters Rockefeller were the best I have ever eaten. And this is all coming from a NYC foodie that has been to the best restaurants in NYC and some amazing restaurants all over the world.

The bartenders and servers were incredibly friendly. I think i might make the 5 hour drive from NY just to visit Exeter and this restaurant again!

Went for Easter Brunch- delicious and lots of options! We've hosted multiple family events there as well and they've all been wonderful, staff, food and event wise! Love the Inn!

Thanksgiving buffet was amazing. Not only the available options, but your chefs killed it. Everything was superb 👌. Service was excellent. Will be back soon for a regular evening out.
