Rise is one of the best thrift stores around. I shop here frequently with my twin 20-year-olds, and we always come home with a big bag of finds—and we rarely spend over $30 a visit! They have a great collection of clothing plus items for the home. Also, they have a program where you can earn points with each visit for a discount on a following visit. The store has also been has been remodeled recently and looks fantastic! We also like to donate our gently used items to this store, which I believe helps Rise fund the food bank in town, buy school supplies for local children and provide holiday gifts for area kids as well.

I moved from Hightstown to Florida in August of 2017, and ever since I moved, I've tried my best to keep track of all the changes that have been taking place in my hometown through friends and social media. Recently, I discovered that there was an Instagram page for the Rise Thrift Store in Hightstown which caught my attention immediately because I used to be a volunteer at Rise in 2014. I started following the page and loved how all the pictures were professionally photographed and there were clothing drops each week with a variety of different clothes that could be ordered from the comfort of my own home; even in Florida!! When I messaged the account after finding a shirt I liked, I was helped by Caroline who helped me get a true perspective of the shirt I was ordering before I even received it. The payment process was a breeze and my shirt arrived to my house a couple weeks later. The shirt is very comfortable, and the condition of the shirt felt like I just bought it at a department store for $40. I wore my shirt for the second time yesterday at work and received two compliments on it! One of those compliments actually led to me making a new friend. Along with the shirt came a handwritten note thanking me for shopping with Rise and to keep supporting them in the future. I have every intention of doing so, and I'm happy to see Rise and the Hightstown community doing so well after seeing the state that it was in when I was volunteering in 2014!

I love this thrift shop! I never leave empty handed. The store was renovated and it gives a boutique feel and it’s so cute. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Love finding vintage gems here as well!

Wow! I just left there... my 1st time in there. I cant say enough about this thrift store. The people who work there are super nice. The prices and incentives are great! AND I left with some free food! This was the most amazing day♡
☆Update☆ I've been back there a few more times..NEVER disappointed! Employees are so nice, and don't hover over you. Racks are always packed! I need to move closer! LOL

Went here today with my boyfriend's mother, his sister, and niece as they where here from PA and they like thrift shops. I don't frequent a lot of them but this place has a lot of nice, fairly priced items including kitchen appliances (small ones, not fridges or stuff like that) and even things like depression and milk glass. Picked up a very nice piece of milk glass for $4 and a cake pop maker machine for $6. Very nice staff and definitely worth a trip.

Love when I find EXACTLY what I'm looking for‼ Going through most of the shirts, I was getting nervous I wouldn't, but then the gem was found! While waiting to be checked out, the staff were busy setting the store up, for business, (I had arrived as soon as the store opened), I checked some of the other goodies, in this pretty well organized store. I'm looking forward to coming back again and again. The woman, who rang me out, was both polite and very kind. As I was leaving, noticed alllllll the other goodies, set up on the sidewalk. I will definitely be giving myself MORE time, on my future visits. Thank y'all, for a great experience.

Fun store and it's packed. Eva was working and she is funny, helpful and a great store manager. Prices seemed in line with other thrift stores and were lower than Goodwill imo. I got some vintage art glass pieces and my partner got some shirts for work. We left spending under 30 bucks so not bad. We also went and checked out the furniture store which is at a different location. Lot's of mid century pieces and the prices were lower than Goodwill also. I got a beautiful all wool rug 8X10 for 20 bucks. I will have to clean it but otherwise it is in fantastic shape.

Haven’t been back to the Hightstown area in a few years since I graduated from Peddie, but happy to see this place is still going strong! was reminiscing, had to review and give my perspective; its location, the way it serves the community, & the people who run it make this place VERY worthy of your patronage. As a low income student surrounded by wealthy kids, this store got me through high school and allowed me to meet my needs when many other places were inaccessible to me. I still own some of the unique finds I got there, including an ugly-chic blazer embroidered with running horses (fondly referred to by friends as “THE horse jacket”) and my favorite coffee mug. An awesome place, hands down

The remodel has made this place the most exciting place to visit in Hightstown -- and the prices are still low! The only difference is that stuff is easier to find! I loved the store before and they found a way to make it even better!

I have had the privilege of working with the Greater Goods Thirft Store and helping this outstanding social enterprise to resell furniture, clothing, toys and other goods to help local families and individuals in recovering from setbacks and achieving their full potential. I love the ability to support a cause with my purchases.

This past summer I stopped by the Greater Goods Thrift Store on my way to a picnic with a 9 and 11 year old. We browsed the store full of interesting housewares, toys and games and ultimately settled upon a purchase of "Marble Madness." For five dollars we had a great activity and a bunch of kids ended up building and setting up a series of marble mazes with the blocks. It was a great addition to the picnic and a good example of the many great things that await at Greater Goods and the friendly and helpful team there.

I've been shopping for adult female clothes for years at Greater Goods. We're in an affluent area so they get high quality items. The only suggestion I have- plan to spend awhile digging! They don't have a large facility so items may become cramped. Happy hunting! J

The store is constantly changing it's inventory. With new donations and items brought in daily. The volunteers are extremely sweet and always willing to help. I actually prefer this over goodwill for thrifty little finds. I love that Rise actually gives back to the community (i.e weekly dinners and vouchers for those who are not as fortunate)

For those who complain about pricing, it is fair pricing and less for what you will pay at other stores. Everything is either at or well below the going market price.

For all that Rise does and how they give back to the community, I am completely impressed with the organization and store. I am really happy to have Rise in Hightstown.

Love my local shop. I've donated many items and bought others. Some wonderful bargains. Just wish it were larger.

This is one of the best organizations I've seen in a long time. They have a great thrift store that supports their food pantry and the families that they serve in Hightstown New Jersey. I love this place

Nice tiny shop. Little more homey than your usual warehouse style thrift shop. Not a lot of stuff but some actual good stuff and everything was clean.
