I didn't realize this was a vegetarian place, but I didn't mind. The food was pretty good, flavorful, bread is always a big thing for me and it was perfect, loved the decor and the way everything was served. Paneer Tikka masala was a good substitute for a chicken tikka. Samosas were delicious. First time trying pani puri, it was pretty good.

We ordered 4 different thalis ( kathiawdi thali , punjabi thali , amritsari kucha thali , chilli cheese paratha ) and enjoyed the awesome food . The service was superb too along with their ambiance. Each and every item in the thalis were cooked perfectly. The quantity and quality both are very good .

Despite its low Google reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. We opted for the Maharaja thali, and it exceeded our expectations. The variety offered in the thali showcased their understanding that customers have diverse tastes. In conclusion, don't let the negative reviews deter you from trying this place; it's definitely worth a visit, at least once.

Good atmosphere, great service. Chaat and noodles were better than couple Punjabi curries we ordered. Maybe just fine but our expectations might be different and expected more gravy like than what we got.

Visited the restaurant on a Monday, had very few guests. We ordered Amritsari Thali, Punjabi Thali, Mango Lassi, Gobi 65 and kids noodles. The amritsari thali was great with the start being the paneer naan which was soft and well stuffed. The Palak saag in the punjabi thali was my personal favourite. Lassi had a very good flavour of the mango. Gobi 65 could have been a little more spicy. The quantity of the kids noodles was a little too much for my son but he enjoyed them. The service was prompt and our server was very hospitable. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This establishment cannot be compared to others in terms of food and service. They have an unique (traditional) approach to service, which I love about them. It's unique because our tradition of mehman-nawazi is a lost art in most South Asian restaurants. At this restaurant each one of the staff members becomes the best host you can possibly ask for. They remember you and provide the comfort that you miss living away from your place of ancestry.

A very good place to visit with family and friends. Unimaginably designed ambiance with ancient artifacts made me remembering my mom’s and dad’s days they used to tell me while I was in India. We were a group of 4 friends and ordered some Indo-Chinese as well as some of their curries which were more savory than our expectations. We can find lots of places to have Indian cuisines but it’s really hard to find a place where we can enjoy our native authentic cuisines but this place made my dream come true. They have a big all-day menu where we can find varieties of dishes. Want to try many more items some other day, this place become my favorite place from today. Good food, courteous staffs….everyone’s only expectations and Kesar’s had fulfilled this. Will try their Maharaja(Bahubali) Thali very soon.

We came to Kesar to try their Maharaja Thali which is an assortment of delicious Indian vegetarian dishes from different parts of India. It is meant to be shared with 4 people and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Service was excellent and they happily provided us to go boxes for the leftovers. Amazing experience here!

Ridiculous Maharaja Thali needs at least one visit for anyone remotely food curious!

We took note of the 30 minutes wait period from reviews and ordered the thalis when waiting for a table to get free. Timing was perfect - thalis arrived within minutes of being seated.

A part of 9 - with 4 kids, we ordered just right for all with 1 Maharaja, 1 chaat thali, 3 bhatoras for the kids who do not like curries, and a sprinkling of drinks - lassi, masala soda, tea, coffee, etc.

The mixed sweet halva served in the thali deserves a separate order to take home. Decadent!

Two of us went for dinner and each got a different thali. The Kesar Special and the Punjabi Thali. The food was delicious. The service was good and the food came out very fast.

We had the Maharaja thali. Three of us went and it was more than enough for 4 people as they advertise. The service was good, they informed us that the wait for Maharaja thali was about 35 minutes. We truly appreciate that honesty. Food was tasty. Not all items were hot enough, since it is the cold weather out, we would have appreciated if all items came piping hot. Especially the rice and few sides were super cold. We understand that Maharaja platter consists of all their Platter versions, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Punjabi etc. So, maybe that is the reason few items were pre-prepared along with those prior platter orders :) Anyways, its a good experience.

Perfect start for the weekend. Friday evenings are the most waited evening in the entire week, you don’t enjoy Saturday and Sunday more than Friday evening, and you know what makes it more happening, is utterly butterly delicious food and Kesar is making sure that you’re going to enjoy every bit of it.

First of all I would like to appreciate the cleanliness they have maintained in the restaurant. The staff is friendly and make sure they make the changes as per the customer demands.

Coming to the main part, for appetizers we started with sev batata poori, kachori chaat and Vada Pav. Mine fav was Kachori chaat. Vada Pav could have been better.

For the main course we ordered two thalis. A Punjabi one and a Rajasthani one. We have a vegan friend with and that’s where Kesar make it sure to adjust vegetarian options with vegan. I was happy the way they have taken care of it. They replaced paneer with saag aalu and aalu gobhi.

I ordered Rajasthani thali and I was completely satisfied with the taste. I had the best besan gatte sabji in years and I am making sure I am visiting them soon to enjoy the rest of the items.

For take away we took Jalebi and Emarti. That was fresh and tasty.

Thank you for the hospitality and keep serving the best food.

Cheers and love,
Amey!

The food was delicious 😋. They have lot’s of Thali to choose as well as nice Vegetarian à la carte options. We have ordered Chaat thali, Sp. Kesar Thali, Paneer Sizzler, Hakka Noodles and Veg. biryani. Great staff with excellent service. We went on Friday night and was not crowded. Will visit soon to have Maharaja Thali.
Visit 2: Paneer Bhurji and other order were delicious but the Roomali roti was very chewy, Can’t even finished!

My first visit with my girl friends and we got this magnanimous Maharaja Thali...a must try if you are a group of 4 or 5 people. It's takes that many people to finish the food the Thali offers. Generous quantity and so many varieties.. pav bhaji, aloo puri, Chole bhature, fafda, khadhi ..both Gujrati and Punjabi, maa ki daal and gulab jamun, malai kofta, spinach corn, ... And I am sure I am missing a few more delicacies that was offered in this plate. Everything was delicious....sarso ka saag... I wish they gave makki ki roti to go with it ...( Insatiable me talking) ..that's not all they sang the birthday song and got the birthday 🎂🎉🎉 which was so adorable 🥰😍... 🙏🙏 As it's the festive season, they had the diwali decors which is beautifully done! Highly recommended!!
