Woody's Ocean Grille Tinton Falls

I always wanted to give this place a try
( Today is the day ). They have outside seating for 50 - 60 people. The inside is really nice and could hold big groups.
I ordered the blackened grouper ( excellent 👌 😋 ) and the chipotle mash potatoes ( so good 😋 ). I also had an oat nog latte ( yummy yummy 😋 ). I'm so glad I stopped here to eat ( I highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍).

What a nice surprise in the middle of Tinton Falls! The french dip special was enjoyed twice (heated up my leftovers the next day) and the calamari was both crisp and tender. Super fast and efficient service and lovely atmosphere. We chose an inside table, but the patio looked nice. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice in my drink. Will definitely go again❤

Blackened Salmon burger was delicious and a dish not found at other places. The atmosphere is very nice. Open and contemporary. I had a Shrimp and Rice dish previously and it was also great. Will definately make a return visit even though it's a bit higher on the price scale. Recommended.

First time trying Woodys, cool spot, Ordered the NY strip medium rare, Perfectly cooked, staff super friendly, waffle sweet potato fries were delicious,

Great food & good service. I had the delicious Tuna Tacos. They were flavorful with avocado and a touch of fresh lime juice. I literally ate everything. The chips and salsa were ok. My daughter had mozzarella sticks and our friends had cheeseburger with fries and fresh salad with fish. My margarita was oh so good! They have an outdoor area but we sat inside.

Went here yesterday and the food and service were great! We got gauc and chips as an appetizer and they gave us a LOT of gauc which I loved! Beach burger was delicious and everyone liked their food. Waiter was attentive even though it was quite busy when we went. Would definitely go again :)

Really, I don't usually subscribe to the thought of five stars down the line, but this place was GREAT!

Their corned beef and cabbage was amazing. Pretty good prices, and a nice atmosphere.

Definitely will be going back.

Food was great! But the best part was Doug! Doug you did an EXCELLENT job, we saw you flying everywhere and taking care of more than 20 people, you handled that like it was easy! We were amazed on how well you took care about everything and your carismatic presence. ❤

Enjoyed the indoor dining as it was too hot to sit outdoors. Started with a Watermelon Vodka Mojoto...light and refreshing, went great with the chips, guac and fresh salsa. For entrees, we had the Aloha Bowl, one with chicken, the other, scallops. Delicious!
Only downside was we were not offered a chance for dessert or coffee. :(

Clean, friendly service and good food. Always a reliable alternative. And prices are still reasonable

This is my 2nd time here. I was last here pre-covid and am happy I decided to come back Once indoor dining resumed. As always, the food was incredible. I highly recommend getting the calamari small plate as your appetizer. The scallops are also quite tasty. I’ve never had seafood with cheese but this combo worked amazingly well with the scallops.

For entree the salmon is phenomenal. The lobster rolls were just ok. It felt like I was eating a tuna fish sandwich which I love but that’s not what I wanted to eat, so I wouldn’t recommend them. The Cuban sandwich on the other hand was really delicious.

Nine of us had any room for dessert so I didn’t get to see what was on the menu this time but based on my previous experience, I’m sure it’s delicious.

I look forward to coming back and ordering yet another round of various things from the menu.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Bright airy and clean. I felt like I was at a shore restaurant. Food was terrific. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating.

We really enjoyed Woodys. The server was attentive, the atmosphere was great. Wednesday nights are lobster specials nights. We had our twin tails stuffed. It came with a whole ear of corn, but I opted for sauteed spinach instead. Fingerling potatoes cooked just right. The meat in the steak quesadillas was tender. The calamari appetizer with balsamic glaze was excellent! Their signature drink- orange crush was made with fresh squeezed O.J. and went down very smoothly. We had no room for dessert.

It was really good all the way around.
Woody's is Great at Tinton Falls or at Sea Bright.

Either location is always a good time..

Been twice, both times sat out on the patio. Always tons of plants and great service. Good even for younger kids (5 and 7).

What a great experience. My family and I visited for Father's day and really enjoyed the food and quality customer service.
We informed them 2 in our party have autism and they immediately accommodated us to a comfortable location. And our server Julia was outstanding, engaging and warm to our daughter who is on the spectrum. What an exceptional experience.
A beautful highlight to our trip to NJ. We thank you.

Doug was great. Food was great. Unfortunately I had a stomach problem shortly after leaving. I would return though and try a different entre. 🤔

This place. I tell ya. Everything was perfect. I orders the Lobster Roll. For $26 I was subconsciously praying it was worth it. And when I TELL YOU, yes LAWDDDD. First off let me break this down, the bread, is a huge thick slice of Texas Toast that’s split halfway through for the lobster filling. The lobster meat is fresh and pulled from an actual LOBSTER. How do I know?- because I found a couple pieces of the shell in the sammich. (Sammiches are better than sandwiches). Don’t let that discourage you. With seafood that is prepared from a fresh source, there will always be remnants of the actual animal in there somewhere. They serve it with chips. I believe they make the chips in the restaurant because they taste like homemade chips. Not “processed bagged chips”
So, after the good azz sammich, the chips, and 2 ICE COLD Kona ipa 🍺 drafts, I am full as a hungry lion in a gazelle reservation. I will be back soon.

I had the pork belly and watermelon appetizer it was delicious. I think it was a special not sure. And the bourbon BBQ wings, they were awesome. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was chill. The service was average. Our server disappeared for a really long time. Couldn't find him and wanted to leave so I was annoyed.

1st time here and absolutely loved it. The beer was cold, the food plentiful and delicious. It's was 6 of us and we ordered 3 appetizers after which we didn't know how we were all going to eat our entrees. Needless to say there was take home boxes.
Sadly no room for dessert. The coffee was excellent.
We'll definitely be returning!
