My husband and I go here regularly. Casual diner with good, reasonably priced food. The soups are home made and excellent. Also make sure to Check out the daily specials. And on Tuesday's, my favorite, is "Taco Night."

I think this place may have changed ownership recently, but regardless, it’s amazing. Good food, huge portions, and lovely staff

Amazing potato and leek soup and both the corned beef special and Mexican salad. Really sweet staff, pretty/clean decor and great, attentive service. Highly recommend-so thrilled to have a diner again!

We love this little gem located in the heart of our favorite downtown. We are there practically every weekend for breakfast. Favorites include: Spanish Burrito, Irish Eggs Benedict, Pancakes and just about anything else ordered. Best corned beef has around and the young waitress there every weekend is a highlight if dining there. She’s friendly, always upbeat snd gets to know her customer. Wonderful food, people and atmosphere.

Staff was very personable. This is a very nice diner. The food is really good and prices are very reasonable. We will be back again. Thank you for the hospitality. It was very much worth the trip and will be making one again.

Well like we promised we made it there again but the lousy elderly customer who disrespected the waitress wrecked her day. I hope they ban the customer and despite them closing the restaurant while we were there, the staff really stepped up when the waitress threatened to quit on the spot and took over the waitress' responsibility.

If you are looking for amazing food and a really nice atmosphere that is authenticity "New Jersey Diner" than this is the place for you. I bring my family here often, generally for breakfast which is always amazing. We had dinner there a few weeks ago, my wife and I both ordered the tacos. Tacos at a diner? YES. They were awesome and we are going there on our next date night without the kids, just for those tacos. Everything is fresh and the food has been consistent, the staff are friendly and everything is very clean. Make sure to stop in, with or without the kids and have a great dining experience that doesn't even come close to "too expensive."

Highly recommended. Went here with my girlfriend on a rainy Thursday morning and was instantly greeted by a cheerful hostess. After being seated, our waitress, Lupe, came right over and told us there was a fresh pot of coffee that was almost ready. Two minutes later, she was back with coffee and two waters. She took our order and not long after was back with an awesome plate of eggs, pork roll, home fries and toast. It was extremely fresh and the portions were huge. Lupe couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

I want to first say the Towne Diner is not the typical diner, the food is served fresh and delicious. Audrey is not only friendly she makes sure you enjoy what you order. 😉 the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Try the mozzarella sticks! Thank you Audrey!

Nice little diner with good food and friendly service. I had the Highlands Burger and onion rings. The burger was well cooked. The onion rings were from a bag, but they were cooked properly. The cole slaw is good, but they only give you a little bit. I would have gladly traded the onion rings for more of the cole slaw.

Been local for a year, but my first time here. Cute and cozy diner in the center of town. Nice counter service as well as dining tables. Felt comfortable being in there. Expansive menu...if you can't find it here, you can't find it! I had the "fire burger" specialty burger. What a great burger! Generous helpings...tangy cheese, sauteed onions, jalapenos...and the fries! Prepared with that hot spicy bbq wing sauce...a unique and tasty treat. Counter service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend for a great diner meal that won't break the bank!

Went for breakfast Monday morning, had dinner to go Thursday evening and both excellent! The homefries are crispy, and the chorizo was tasty.
The home made corn tortillas for the tacos are excellent, we had the Chicken, Shrimp, Barbacoa , and carnitas tacos, all were great. The rice and beans were awesome and they gave us complimentary chips with salsa and guacamole😋

Steak tacos were awesome with homemade tortillas! Even had pupusas today, a great and tasty surprise! Will be back here every time.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the diner was inside, how quickly the food was served and by the quality of the food. My family and I had a great experience dining here after visiting the beach, and we'll definitely come back next time we're in town.

We've been for breakfast three times now and liked our choices each time, especially the breakfast burrito. Plus a major part of the draw is the delightful staff.

Such a special place for us. We love the food, the service, and yes even made some friends there this summer.

Amazing Food! I would honestly eat here 3 times a day if I could. Not your ordinary diner! You can't go wrong with just about anything on this menu. My favorite breakfast dish is "The Irish". For lunch there are some extremely delicious chicken sandwiches and the burgers are phenomenal. And for dinner highly recommend starting with a mexican soup and then dive into one of the many pasta dishes or an impressive taco bowl salad.

Our waitress was full of life and overly accommodating. The food was great. I have no complaints! It’s nice to have a diner back on First Ave.

Friendly staff, great food. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner meals here and they’ve never disappointed. I love their chicken fajitas and chicken cheesesteak!
