Dr Gillis is an amazing neurosurgeon. I had originally gone to him just to seek a second opinion. When we met wit him he was so informative and explained everything to me so I could understand in layman’s terms. I did chose to have him do my surgery and so glad I did. My surgery was 6 months ago and I am doing amazingly well. I certainly would recommend him.

Dr. Olson literally saved my back. I've had three different surgical procedures by him and I am not only painfree but have all of my function back. The sciatic pain that I had pre-surgery was excruciating and I couldn't work as a physical therapist, perform daily tasks and was miserable. I'm back to work, working out and best of all, painfree! He is a fantastic surgeon and has a great bedside manner. His scheduler Regina is also an absolute pleasure to work with. I 100 percent recommend and am so thankful!!!

The staff here is fantastic! Very courteous and attentive. I spoke with Regina, Dr Olson's assistant on many occasions and she was always extremely friendly, answered all my questions and concerns in a very professional manner. The whole process of scheduling surgery, PAT, & surgery clearance for was performed in a professional manner that left no doubt that everything was being taken care of in a timely manner.

My experience with Dr.Olson and Regina have been nothing but fantastic. Regina is always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have prior to and after surgery.

Dr Olson was very thorough and direct about my case. I appreciate his candor. He spoke with my wife and me, ordered additional fact finding tests, explained all of the possible risks, then expedited my surgery, which went very well with the assistance of Dr Estin from the same practice. Post - operative care and follow up by Dr Olson and his Physicians Assistant, Dawn has been thorough and regular. It has been a little over a month in a 3 month recovery period, and the Doc and Dawn have been responsive to my needs and requirements. In addition, the addition, the administrative staff did a good job of making me feel like I was the only person on their calendar. I feel like I made the right choice for what was a risky procedure and recommend Dr. Olson and his associates if you are in need of a top shelf neurological group.

Dr Olson was very informative, educating me on my condition, and all the possibilities. He was very inquisitive to assess my needs. At first I thought surgery was the cure. However, his thorough assessment of my mobility led to wait. No need for surgery now. He altered my thinking that surgeons are usually looking for the opty to make cuts. His enthusiasm and focus was quite appealing.

The staff was very pleasant, courteous and professional. I was tended to immediately and within 5 minutes I was in the doctors chair being seen by my doctor. Dr. Gillis was amazing, great personality, simplified things so I could understand them. He had a terrific bed-side manner and made me feel very confident in his abilities and that whatever issue I was having, he would take care of it. Highly recommended!!!

Dr.Olson is not only an outstanding Surgeon, he is truly a compassionate and knowledgeable human being. I’ve had cervical and lower lumbar fusion and he has guided me throughout the entire healing process with much success. The whole group is exceptional and Bobby always goes that extra to make sure i am up to date on all my paperwork. I would highly recommend Dr. Olson.

I only had one appointment with Dr Lustgarten so far but so far so good. He saw me in his scrubs in his office after surgery - gotta respect that right off the bat. He spent good quality time explaining things to me, pointing out things on my MRI and using models he had around the office. I had questions on fusion vs disc replacement and he addressed it - for me. That’s the key. Anyone can argue fusion vs replacement in theory but not many can tell you what’s right for you and why. He does both but can recommend one or the other for you or something totally different than surgery. And this is all based on a lot of years of experience.

Six weeks ago I had severe pain in my legs, mid and lower back. Dr. Olsen performed surgery on me and I walked out of the hospital the same night. The severe nerve pain in my legs is completely gone and my back has significantly improved, getting better each day. Dr. Olsen is knowledgeable, very patient and compassionate. Along with his wonderful staff I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of back care.

I saw Dr. Olsen for a second opinion for spinal surgery. I am so glad I did, he was very nice and explained everything to me. He made me feel better and more comfortable about having surgery. He did not make me feel I had to rush to have surgery like the first surgeon I saw did. I left Dr. Olson's office feeling relieved and more relaxed about having surgery.

The staff at Dr Olson's office were very friendly, cooperative and professional. Dr Olson took his time to discuss my concerns, exam me and start a plan to address my medical needs. I feel comfortable going forward.

I had my surgery several months ago with Dr. Gillis. I would like to say that his bedside manner was fantastic he explained everything to the last detail. He was very courteous and professional. My post op was difficult as expected. However I'm writing this review 3 months after my surgery I am 100% better than I was before the surgery I no longer have any back pain. Although I no longer do real heavy lifting I had a laminectomy and my x ray of the back looks like a small hardware store.
I would like to stay publicly that Dr Gillis was fantastic and I recommend him highly. My surgery was done at Monmouth Medical Center my experience there was overall very satisfactory. My experience with Dr Gillis was absolutely fantastic.

Every one in the office are very nice. Pleasant atmosphere. Dr Estin is the best!! I was in pain with my back for so many years and he fixed it. It was the best feeling when waking from the anesthesia and having no pain from my back and legs, other then the surgical pain

I’ve only been here once and so far so good.
I saw Dr. Estin for a problem with my neck from a fall last July. I had been going to someone else who told me my only 2 options were epidurals or surgery. Dr Estin bypassed that altogether and ordered physical therapy. I’m so very glad his first option was PT and didn’t immediately jump into any kind of surgery. We’ll see how that goes and take it from there. I have more confidence in Dr. Estin than the other guy.
Dr. Estin took his time with me, answered my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed.
