Franklin Lake Park

Great place to walk. The paved loop is one mile, and the views are very beautiful, especially near sunset. Lots of ducks on the water with occasional sightings of larger birds. People often walk their dogs here. There are benches and some picnic tables along the path, as well as a gazebo. There are port-a-potties on one side, but no other restrooms. Street parking is easy, but if you're meeting someone there, take care to agree on where to meet, or you could find yourselves on opposite sides of the lake.

Nice easy .9 mile walk around a beautiful lake. Very peaceful. If you want a 4 to 5 mile walk you can hike to Wilson Hall a beautiful Mansion.

I love this park, great park for fishing, went here a few times with my dad and sisters. We never caught anything but it’s also a nice park for a picnic or a walk.

Great time, even saw a guy catch a large mouth bass! The lake is roughly a mile in circumference and has beautiful tree's in blossoming season.

This park is awesome for going for nice walks along the water this park is great for just taking you furry friends for a nice stroll ,it's great for big events or evin you going and sitting down and fishing or just hanging out with friends

Nice little park right in the center of town. You would have to live here, stumble on it or be told about it to even know it exists. Nice little lake which I'm sure holds some nice fish.

It's a very relaxing, beautiful and peaceful park. Everything is clean, not too crowded on the right days and populated with alot of nice flowers.

Always loved the park, great place even when I was back in high school. Lots of local events too, like barktoberfest. Lots of good memories, good for all ages.

First time there. My friend and I sat at a table enjoying the sound of the fountain.
Next time I am bringing a chair. The tables are rough on the backside!!

Great fishing, tranquil setting lake is in great condition since they dredged it some years back.
